Claber 8990 Hose Reel with Automatic Reeling, 20 m (Black/Orange/Grey)

Never worked well and now it's broken, took it apart to see why and I'm only surprised it didn't break sooner. Avoid. They don't sell spare parts either.

The automatic system was always difficult to block, relying always on the good luck. At the end it finishes to be completly unwinded, blocked and impossible to be unlocked. Really a bad design, because a very simply colored hose at the near end, it would prevent to be completly unwinded, broken the device.

This is a very expensive product which performs very poorly. It is far more fragile than it should be. Worst of all, if the hose is fully extended it will not retract. There is no warning that you are reaching the end of the hose. Mine is now stuck, with no way to repair it, so I have a pile of hose on the ground. Customer service is not helpful or friendly. It is a poorly designed product masking as a premium product. Do not buy.

Una solución muy elegante y decorativa para la manguera de riego. Altamente recomendable.

Alle Bauteile sind qualitativ hochwertig. Der Schlauch lässt sich schnell ausrollen (etwas Kraft notwendig, nichts für Kinder) und rastet sicher ein. Bisher hat sich die Schlauchfeststellung noch nicht einmal von allein wieder gelöst. Achtung: Ich habe das Gerät eine Frostnacht draussen gelassen, danach war es undicht. Mein Fehler! Ich habe es mir aber gleich ein wieder das gleiche Modell gekauft.

Wir hatten bereits das Vorgängermodell und waren sehr zufrieden, eine saubere Lösung, Was manchmal nicht so gut Funkioniert ist die fixierung des Schlauchs. Beim zurückrollen des Schlauch klappt alles bestens, die Anschlüsse sind dicht, und er ist wertig verarbeitet.
