Norpro Meat Grinder, Mincer and Pasta Maker

the plastic is the negative point out here overall it's fine. not for heavy usage. meats are to be cut into small pieces before grinding or else itl get stuck n break ur machine

Meat grinder very mincer is not functioning only once comes then stuck also the front side wheel also tight becomes so it is not so good that why want to return n refund

Broken on arrival. Cheap plastic, not worth the money.

First warning , This is NOT A PASTA MAKER. It only pushes out pasta that will keep the shape for a second but turn to mush. Even with the recipe given,the pasta does not keep its shape ,even after adding more flour.Grinding:Ground about 8lbs of chicken breasts withing 10 minutes. Starting from the bigger plate to the smaller one.Too much fat will stick to the blade and make it difficult to press out.Stuffing: Some sharp cuts on nozzle seem like they'd cut the casing but I only had one tear in 7 sausages and that could have just been the casing itself.Overall it is a great grinder and stuffer,not a pasta maker . For the $21.91 at time of purchase,it is great.

Perfect for me!!!I have had two very expensive meat grinders that I threw in the trash in frustration. All I want to do is grind my own ground beef and those models wouldn't do it. In a last ditch effort, I read the reviews on this and thought I'd try one last time, but my hopes weren't high because of the adage 'you get what you pay for'. That is not true in this case!This grinder is perfect!!! It doesn't jam up and have to be taken apart every few grinds! I ground an entire pound of sirloin without every having to stop and clean out the gears!!! Clean up was equally as simple.I highly recommend this little machine and can't wait to make some pasta and spatezle with it.

When buying this product don't expect to get a super gadget. This is a Hyundai compared to a Cadillac. But don't be fooled either, it surely does it's job. It's nearly impossible to get ground beef here in Japan. I buy a fresh cut of beef, cut it in cubes and crank the machine to make wonderful ground hamburger. Haven't used it for anything else yet. There is a slight problem with the suction cup, but I think that's due to our kitchen counter surface here which is not flat but textured.

This grinder seemed to work perfectly at first. After about 5 lbs of grinding a piece of fat got caught in the grinder and broke the plastic that metal plates tightened onto. This caused plastic to break off all in the grinded meat causing us to have to throw all of that meat out as well as throw the grinder away since it was now unusable. Unfortunately even though it seemed like it was good at first in the end it was a waste of 20 dollars that tore up in one day.

I have not an axe to grind but a piece of meat and this machine does it very well. it was a bonus that it is a pasta maker as well. I never made pasta before and now no more store bought pasta for me. What a pleasant surprise. this is now my pasta maker AND grinder.
