Not ready for prime time (or Canadian weather)
I bought this in January 2018, but with our really cold winter I didn't get around to installing it until July (I had set it aside and forgotten about it).The connector is too short for my 2016 Colorado, so I had to buy a 2' extension connector. Then, when I mounted it, it is actually too long by about 6 inches (obviously meant for a full size truck) but I was able to fit it between the tailgate and the bumper, with about 3" on each side behind the bumper. But, remember, the connector is about a foot short - huh?However, it doesn't stand up to the elements. After about 3 months, the left (driver's) side of the strip is dead.What a waste of money.

Instructions to installing the reverse lights and add an extra 6 to 12" of wire..
The light strip is awesome, I like the fact it has the amber led light , it matches up too my amber signal lights on my mere, making it look pretty sharp. The 2 dislikes are; 1. wasn't any instructions on how to wire in the reverse lights, 2. wasn't enough wire to reach across to my plug in , so I spiced in 12" of wire to reach across . All in all I really like this light strip.

Great gift idea!
Saw this on another truck and my son liked it so much that we bought it as his Christmas gift. My husband liked it so he bought one for his truck. Have recommended it to many others as well.

very low quality.. plug doesnt fit in my trailer plug and when tested was wired wrong on both sets i bought.. save your money

Adhesive not strong enough. Even using cleaning strips and roughing up the surface they fell off.
Easy to install Not waterproof. they stopped working after the first car wash. Seal the ends with silicone

Plug is a smaller fit than what is on my truck, I had to rewire to make work.
I would not recommend this product for the above reason.
