The HidrateSpark PRO 2 is a very decent smart water bottle that is great at chilling your drinks and connecting your fluid intake directly with Apple Health. It has an intuitive physical design with a sturdy carry handle, a lid lock to keep your drinks from spilling out when you accidentally turn the bag upside down and Apple Find My functionality that will prevent you from leaving such an expensive device somewhere by accident. The tracking function works pretty accurately but has some flaws. It can occasionally slightly miss the amount of liquid you drank (for example, report 600ml instead of 900ml) and needs you to manually reset the sensor puck every time you want to take it off for recharging and cleaning. Besides, you need to open the dedicated app from time to time to start a background sync otherwise the data won't be updated in real time. Unfortunately, the software monetization policy is quite annoying. While the glow reminders on the bottle look great on your desk, unlocking the additional patterns, colors, and reminder sounds behind the paywall of an app subscription looks rather cheeky considering how much the bottle itself costs (£70). However, as an everyday bottle for cooling your drinks and tracking your daily intake automatically in iOS, it fulfills its promise perfectly.

I’m finding it useful but not very accurate, I filled it to the top 3 times both yesterday and today and my target is 2000ml but both days it suggested I only drank 1600ml and it’s updating it?!

I bought the PRO 2, 32 oz smart water bottle, and I am sorry I missed the return window. I would not recommend this bottle. It is very spotty with syncing to the app, and the unscrewing of the bottom to connect to USB for recharging is cumbersome; hence two stars only because of the app itself.

I don't know quite how to rank the bottle. In terms of holding liquid, it's great. I'll put ice in it with my drink and there will still be ice in there by the end of the day without having replaced any ice. The puck, however...not worth the money. My puck would never flash for the reminder and after going back and forth with the team several times and following their 'fixes' and those of previous purchasers, with no fix, I just gave up. By that point it was too late to return/refund/etc. So I essentially paid $85 for just a bottle with 2 lids. Great insolation for the drink, but not $85 worth of great.

I am a busy teacher who doesn't always have time to stop and drink until I am dying of thirst. I love that the Pro 2 bottle lights up and beeps at me. I keep it in the front of my classroom. My students are so used to the bottle that they let me know when it goes off and remind me to drink. It is a lifesaver.

This is my second hydrospark water bottle. I absolutely love them so I just got the upgrade. The app and ide on smart bottle are so easy. Great way to keep me hydrated and drinking the water needed for staying healthy.
