Replacement Battery For PLANTRONICS 63421-01 - NiMH 800mAh CT12

The battery's manufacturer I believe is not the original manufacture. However I just received the replacement battery a few days ago (4) and the one thing that gives me confidence that it's a good product is in its "Behavior" upon preparing it for use.After taking it out of the package I immediately put it in the receiver for fit. Perfect. Next, charge the battery. Quick and complete. The only question left to answer is "longevity".The battery that was in my previous Plantronics headset finally gave up a few days ago. Thus the reason to get this new battery. But since I tend to write the dates of any new batteries when they're put into service I can tell you the old battery being replaced now was new and installed on 12/19/2016. I'm just hoping I out live it.

I had given up on my old phone and purchased a new one. Unfortunately the new phone was awful so I went looking for a new battery for my old phone. Someone at a forum helped me find this battery and for that I am eternally grateful. This battery provided the new life my old phone needed. I had thought they were not making the battery for my old phone but I'm glad they still are. With my old battery I could only talk for an hour at most and then the phone would beep constantly. I'm always dubious about ordering 3rd party rechargeable batteries, and I am leery about writing a review this early.It certainly is the right specification. It works in my Plantronics phone, and it had at least some charge on it when it arrived so I could test it's functionality before putting it on the charger, which is a good thing.I cannot say with any certainty if the charge will last for many hours, or how long the battery's life will be... yet

I like my Plantronics phone but when it was time to replace the battery I was sorely disappointed when I found out that they discontinued the battery for it. Luckily, a simple online search showed me that other companies have filled the niche by making replacement batteries.Because I am in Canada it took a couple of weeks for the new battery to be delivered but other than that I was very pleased with the price and quality. The battery was brand new in original packaging and worked seamlessly with my plantronics phone.Anyone in the same situation as I will benefit from purchasing this battery.

Plantronics has discontinued my phone model AND the rechargeable battery that goes with it. I thought I'd have to buy a new phone. I am very grateful I found this battery on Amazon. It works perfectly - just like the original.I guess that says something about Plantronics quality. "Still going..."August 2012 - bought another battery for one that wore out. (Originally bought two batteries - one is still working fine.) Still able to use this "old" phone. Definitly good for the environment. Am very pleased. The company updated the packaging to be more sturdy.

For the price I was a little skeptical, but so far it works like a new battery should. Received about 5 years service out of the first one so I guess that is a standard to look for. If it fails before this time period I will be back to edit this review for you. But for the price, it was a reasonable deal, and the service was prompt and reliable.Update: As of 9-5-11 this battery is still as strong as the day it was bought.

This was a good fit for the original, which had lasted an amazing 10 years.After what was probably a 12 hour charging period in the phone, it performed well and I believe I am back up to hours and hours of talk time. I did a 3 hour call last week, with no low battery issues.

It has only been two months with no problems. But just finding a replacement battery for my 17 years old phone under $10 was amazing!

Great little battery extended the life of my wireless phone.
