Does not work after one week...
Piece of junk. Although I did buy this exact unit at our local Home Depot, I thought I'd share my review: worked for, oh, about a week. Then, would not switch off/on when it should (yes, I had the switch set to 'Time'.) - and finally just stopped working at all. Although it's not an expensive item, it should still WORK correctly for a reasonable length of time. Other outlet timers work well (spend a few more dollars) - pass this one by.

Good mechanical timer
I was looking for a replacement for my old timer & decided to give this one a try. I have had it for several weeks & it works well. It is easy to program and has a switch on the side that allows you to bypass the timer function; which I really like.

Does what it says
I have a couple of these and both work great. Most items cheaper than this do not include ground. And my applications required a ground for safety. Plus I was really pushing the upper edge of the Wattage on these and it held up fine. Only downside might be setting the little pins for the times. But unless you have a need to change those often, it shouldn't be a big deal.

Timer is loud and doesn't keep the correct time
I purchased this item on In December 2012, and unfortunately it doesnt work as advertised. It will not keep time at all, and the motor in the timer is very loud! It makes clicking noises every 5-10 minutes that I can hear two rooms away. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging and cant look up any warranty info on the damned thing

These are ok.
These work fairly well. I believe the timing mechanism isn't 100% accurate. These are used for candle lights at our windows. For their purpose they are excellent. I'm not sure about using this type of device for anything critical that requires the utmost time accuracy.

Lasted less than six months. Stopped moving, just kept clicking. Timer was inaccurate also. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Good mechanical timer
Good mechanical timer with two outlets. Note that the single timer turns on or off both outlets simultaneously, you cannot seperately program each outlet. I use this to turn on the light and UV filter on my fish tank, it works great. Would also work fine for say, Christmas lights.

As advertised
Good timer, does exactly what it is supposed to. Other reviewers claim it is loud, but mine operates silently and without issue.
