This is a great detangler. My hair is very curly and I get terrible mats. It's takes very little product to work through the mats. A very wide toothed comb is a big help.

I never have ever written a product review here on Amazon. But holy amazeballs. I wear hair extensions, and I have for quite some time. (yes, I'm an addict) I wear quality extensions and typically do not have a problem with knotting or tangles in my extensions. I went to a new stylist, who put in a new brand of quality extensions. I have always used Tresemme Moisturizing Conditioner on my extensions without issue. After wearing this hair for a few weeks, I found myself having to CONSTANTLY brush through them- they looked great right after I styled them, but within an hour, the texture became dull, and they knotted and tangled and frizzed. I found myself combing through them all the time with my fingers, and was always self conscious about how they looked. When I wore them in a ponytail, which was quite often, it was even worse. I used proper products in my hair as well, including Its A Ten Spray, argan oil, etc. Didn't make a difference. Welp, I was pretty bummed. After some internet research, I found that this product was recommended by several extensions websites. I bought it with high hopes. And it did NOT disappoint. My hair literally has no tangles. No snarls. No frizz. After a full day. I'm in awe. And both the extensions and my real hair are soft and feel light. Bottom line, if you wear any kind of remy human hair extensions in your hair, BUY THIS PRODUCT!! DO IT NOW. I can only imagine the results this will give to regular hair, when it does this to chemically-processed hair that does not get the benefit of natural oils from the scalp. Wowza. Forever customer. 5 stars.

This product works!!! I have color treated hair that gets very tangled during shampooing. I have tried countless other products to get the tangles out. This product works!!! It also leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy.

The Detangler works, but this is not what I ordered, I didn't realize it was wrong product till I got in shower, I wanted to order the (classic ) The conditioner by Paul Mitchell

Great everyday conditioner. It isn't too heavy and leaves hair soft and managable.

Love this conditioner for my hair. Gives it volume and smooths out the frizz.

I think I've read on PM bottles in the past that the authenticity off products is only guaranteed when purchased from hair salons, I've never had an occasion to even think to test that but, I'm..... just not so sure about this item being the "real deal" by Paul Mitchell. Perhaps I missed the small print that said this is a best effort remake? but I've used PM products for DECADES and I have *NEVER ONCE* opened or used an authentic PM product that smelled like... ALL of ANY smell it may have ever had was purposly removed and smelled only of absolutely nothing. This looks like lotion, it doesn't even smell like lotion, because it doesn't smell like anything. :-/

It's a product I have used for many years, helps keep hair in condition,not stick or clingy to your hair. Helps when styling hair, hair feels more pliable. Helps holding style. Apply a small amount like 5p depending on length thickness. Bit less if hair short and thin.

Excellent product. Just disappointed that it was a small bottle. It works very well though.
