A backward step for Philips, and an expensive mistake for me!
I bought this for my son just after I bought the similar version for myself (but without the Cleaning Station). I bought mine to replace my worn out 10 yr old HQ8170CC which had the "Speed-XL (HQ9)" heads. I regret that this newer shaver with "V TrackPrecision-Pro" heads is significantly inferior - it simply does not cut as close to the skin, the wider border around each head may make it more comfortable, but also prevents reaching into tight corners and it takes about twice as long to achieve a shave which is not as good as my previous shaver.

What a great shave
A great close shave. Upgraded from 4 year old Aquashave which was adequate - flinched at the price difference but glad I went ahead. Comfortable to hold, light weight yet powerful & a much mor comfortable & closer shave than before, so very happy with this purchase
