Ok I did apply two coats but still 100 is no way near 275:(:(:( I am now short and due to this lockdown cannot even source more qty! Review: Not original ..cheated by seller - Updating my review after i opened it few days later on purchase for actual use on my furniture it has all fungus over it and when I brushed it off on teak wood no grey stain ...simply as if brushed water. NOW THE RETURN time has expired I regret spending my money ..highly disappointed... Initial review Expected this stain to be a little deep in shade as I saw on YouTube the stain was more dark grey. The good news: getting twice the amount I need from a can (when mixed 1/1 with water). Putting a coat of urethane on top (after dried) darkens it - no need for a second coat (and potentially making it bluish-purple). **Q: Can you use it on pressed wood?** A: Yes but not sure the look would be what you want. It ages the wood bringing out the grain on pressed wood it would exaggerate the pieces of pressed wood a gel stain Might be a better product. You can make faux grain. **Q: can the stain be lightened after it's applied? I have darker areas where it overlapped.** A: Try leaving the treated wood out in the sun. The UV rays start to fade/lighten the effect on wood. You may need to leave in the sun for several days.
