My almost 5 year old Jujitsu student grandson received the training dummy on recommendation of my son, who also trains in a Jujitsu with his son, and helps teach (he's a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and trains in mixed martial arts). My grandson jumped on it, hugged it and said it is "the best!" I was impressed to see my son immediately demonstrate 15 drills with the dummy for his son. He felt it was great quality, sturdy, and especially liked the straps in the back for holding it during drills. We are a martial arts family. This grandma has earned 4 degrees of black belt, 3 in Tae Kwon Do, by age 40 and another in Tang Soo Do at age 61. I have been pleased with the prices and variety of martial arts supplies at Amazon. IMPORTANT NOTE: This training tool, along with other martial arts equipment should be used primarily by students getting professional instruction and under supervision of adults.

This dummy works well for what I have my 7 year old son practice. There are two straps on the back and I can hold them to push and add resistance when he shoots a take-down to help teach him good form (sometimes I push down and have the dummy sprawl when his form is bad). If you are expecting a kid to wrestle around with this dummy and practice by himself; you might be disappointed since it can't stand on it's own, and the arms are pretty stiff. If you practice with your kid, it can work very well. Best used for lots and lots of singles/doubles/throws.

Bought this for my son who loves to wrestle the sofa cushions every evening. He is loving it and my sofa is happy.

My 6 year old son and 5 year old nephew love and beat on this things for hours a day and it is still holding up strong!! Must have for rough boys who love to wrestle etc

Best purchase ever for my 8 year old son. He wrestles this thing non stop and expends a lot of energy doing so, which is exactly what I was hoping for during the stay at home order. It’s durable and about 19 lbs. He named him Rocky.

My 10 year old is obsessed with WWE! He is certain he wants to join when he's all grown up. So everyday he does mock wrestling matches with a body pillow we had around the house. He does this EVERY DAY. So I bought this throwing buddy as a Christmas gift. To say he loves it would be the understatement of the year! It's heavier then the pillow, and feels like wrestling a real person. Best Christmas gift ever. Highly recommend!

My son is 13 and way into WWE. This is a really fun dummy for him to throw around. It's decently heavy and well constructed... taken a lot of abuse. It certainly beats him asking to try out moves on his siblings... :)

My son loves WWE and he loves pretending to be a WWE superstar and this was the perfect gift for him. Plus is saves my pillows from being destroyed lol
