Cheaper than a vet treatment but still effective.
I purchased this flea treatment to treat our two cats after we noticed fleas on them. They'd also been scratching so much that they had developed quite a few scabs and were obviously uncomfortable. Normally we would get some treatment from the vet but we are having to cut back on expenses and this was a far cheaper option. You get six 0.5ml pipettes that need to be used once a month to kill fleas, ticks and lice, so for us this is three treatments per cat so really good value. They're simple to use. Simply snap the top of the pipette off, part the cats fur at the back of the neck, just above and between the shoulder blades (putting it here prevents the cat from being able to lick the product) then squeeze the product onto the cats skin. It's important to get it onto the skin as it needs to soak in to work. It will not work properly if you dispense it onto fur. If your cat is a bit fidgety it's probably easier to have one person hold the cat and another to administer the flea drops. We've found this product to work really well. Both cats are now more comfortable, less itchy and they're scabs are healing which is a good sign that the fleas are dying off. We've also not seen any fleas for a while, neither on the cats themselves or their beds which I'm pleased about. If like us you have a multi cat household it's best to treat all cats at the same time. If you have a large infestation you will probably need to use a household treatment too to get rid of any fleas and their eggs in soft furnishings to prevent them getting back on to your cat later, or at the very least daily hoovering of the main areas that the cats spend time in. You also need to keep on top of the treatment to prevent the fleas returning, so I've marked the date of the next treatment on the calendar to remind me. I'm really pleased with how well this product has worķed after just one application. When we've used up the other four pipettes I'm more than happy to purchase these again.

Gentle for cats skin, same day results
Ill buy again, its worth it. Gentle enough to not burn the skin, but most fleas are gone. I see cats are relieved after a day from application. It didnt kill all the fleas but I barely see any now. Honestly great results, happy cats.

A trusted brand
Frontline Ive always found expensive in major pet outlets and supermarkets , and more expensive in a vetinary surgery's so have always opted for cheaper non branded flea treatments. However , to find frontline which is a trusted and known brand , and to get SIX pipettes of treatment for a very affordable price as opposed to one for £7:50 , how can you not take advantage of that. Works a treat on the cats and very fast acting , giving the cats respite from scratching and feeling uncomfortable. Seriously good value for money and I'll definitely purchase again at that price.

Good all round product
I moved to a new home which was unfortunately infested with fleas. I have an indoor cat who has never had fleas, and has regular monthly treatment from his vet. Unfortunately during the move i wasn't able to get to the vet, so i treated my cat with this a couple of days ago and, so far he has had no bad side effects from it. It has stopped his scratching and, the patch on his neck dried in about 48 hours with no hair loss or irritation. I have found a couple of fleas on him since so I don't think the repellent aspect of it works very well but unfortunately I have still got to wait a couple of days before pest control are due. So I guess this is to be expected 🤷♀️ This is a good product to use in an emergency when you can't get to the vet though.

A reliable flea treatment
A great preventative to make sure our cats don't get fleas and to help get rid of them if any did get picked up. I use it alongside a flea room spray just to be sure. Bible and braces as they say. Have used Frontline many times before and will continue to do so.

Please do not buy this brand
I switched to Frontline Plus from a Pets at home subscription because it offered tick protection. At the end of the first month I noticed fleas on all 5 of my cats. They had not had a flea problem with the pets at home Advantage brand. I thought maybe it was because it was the end of the month and almost time to be re done so I did their second month on time making sure I got the skin not fur. Three days later still fleas present and found myself in a predicament because they had now had a flea treatment and can’t have another. After three weeks my cats have fleas like they have had no treatment at all (they have never had fleas like this before). I have had to buy multiple cans of indorex and spray the entire house because the eggs will have dropped everywhere. Two of them have had to go to the vets for other reasons this week and they have confirmed that Frontline does not work. Fleas are becoming more and more resilient to products on the market and Frontline just has no effect on them. I have gone with a three month vet prescribed course for the 2 that went to the vets but it is extremely expensive when you have 5 cats. I may go back to Advantage and try it for the other 3 but now that I have a flea infestation that has taken hold due to the Frontline I may have to use the prescribed treatment for all 5 This is not just the vets trying to upsell telling you over the counter isn’t strong enough. I can tell you form my experience I have tried this with 5 cats that did not have a flea problem before, I applied it perfectly at the correct time, for 7 weeks and my cats now have fleas it does not do what it says or what you want it to do UPDATE If your cat visits the vet you can get a prescription for the vet grade flea treatment. I did one vet visit for another condition and got one prescription for a years worth of flea treatment. You can then buy the flea treatment online instead of from the vets making it much more affordable. As long as you see the vet once a year you can get a prescription so if you go in for boosters or for a check up for a condition and ask at the same time you are not paying for an appointment just for a prescription.
