Proheat Reusable Hand Warmer

I bought this for my husband to use at work, as he is outdoors for long periods of time. I have not had any issues with this hand warmer so far other than one time I didn't recharge it all the way, but that was a user error ;) It is clear when charged and ready to use, and white after use. This product is easy to use and easy to recharge, it takes a little time to get the pot of water boiling and to dissolve all the crystals, but it doesn't bother me! I love that this product is reusable. It lasts around 30 minutes and gets very warm. All you have to do is click the little metal disk to activate it, it's pretty neat. To prevent my hubby from accidentally setting it off while it's in his gear, I put it back in the original box it came in after I recharge it for him. Would definitely repurchase this product, highly recommend!

They only last for about half an hour, but we already had enough fun using and reusing them in the first two days to make it worth what I paid. I now keep one in my backpack in case my hands get too cold while waiting for the bus. Bought one for me, and one for my sister. We are both quite happy with them. Kind of a hassle to boil them in order to use them again, but I prefer this over the disposable hand warmers for my purposes.

I bought this to use after snowboarding. It gives you a fuzzy feeling whenever you use it, so don't expect to get your hands out of ice with this. This isn't so practical when you're staying at a hotel. After using it after snowboarding, I tried to use the hottest water I could from the hotel, but could barely get it to dissolve the crystals. So now I know this thing is only good for one use when I'm not near a stove. One time I kept it in a box in my camelbak, to prevent it from freezing or getting too cold. When I took it out to check on it, the outer plastic was firm, but think it would still have worked because the inside was still liquid. My hands weren't too cold, so I didn't use it to see how it would work while in that condition. I think I'll try wrapping it in a cloth or scarf in my box for next time.

I don't know why these hand warmers would be catagorized as toys, but they function fairly well. I ordered several and I did get one bad one, it was almost a solid when it arrived. The others worked as expected and were reusable as stated. Doesn't get very hot, but will warm you hands when put into mittens that accept heaters like these.

Absolute waste of money. Does nOt do what it is supposed to do! I WANT MY MONEY BACK, PRONTO (AS IN I WISH I HAD NEVER ORDERED THIS)!

Worked great the first time but only lasted about 20 minutes. When away from a pot of boiling water all day it is impractical, and the second and third time we used it it barely got hot for more than 10 minutes before going cold. Not sure what this is good for, most people looking for a heat pack or handwarmer would usually need it for more than a one-time 30 minute use.

Works well. I use it for walking to school in the cold weather, and it keeps my hands warm. It is made of a thick, solid feeling plastic with a clear liquid inside. My only complaint is that it only stays really hot for about half an hour, but that is typical for reusable hand warmers.

My husband's hands get so cold when he is out shove!ing, ice fishing or just feeding the birds. These hand warmers are is salvation.
