David Busch's Nikon Z6 Guide to Digital Photography (The David Busch Camera Guide Series) Paperback – April 17, 2019

I have used Busch's Nikon review books for all my Nikon DSLR books and found them helpful. That remains true for his review of my Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera. I especially like his extensive set of tables with recommended settings for various camera uses. While I may choose different settings at times, having his and his discussion of what he makes those recommendatons is useful in learning to use the Z6. There are many other helpful Z6 guides in e-book formats that are helpful; nonetheless, I really prefer a hard copy book since I find them more efficient to use than computer searchs of the e-book formats; tho I own both.

If I could I'd give Mr. Busch's book 10 stars. The Nikon z6 is a complex camera even for an experienced digital photographer. Nikon's manuals give you technical data but are hard to decipher. Mr. Busch translates the data and combined with his actual experience makes this a useful reference. That's not to say it's cold and techy, he includes his experienced opinions that makes it readable and fun. I discovered it from a recommendation by another experienced photographer on a blog.

I feel that Busch’s book provides a clearly written guide to using the Z6. It helped me understand the complex menus, and it also provided starting points for setting up the focusing and metering sub-systems.

I've purchased David Busch's books for every camera I've had over the past 10 years or so and I've found them to be as complete as the manufacturer's manuals or maybe more so, and written in a style that is user friendly and much more understandable than the techno-speak of the official manual. I teach digital photography and recommend David's books to all of my students.

I found this guide to be easy to read and to locate specific information. Given that the Nikon Z6 has many possible modes and options, this guide helped me set up the camera in the way I needed/wanted. The overall flow of the guide is logical and easy to follow. The table of contents is also well designed.

I could navigate most of my Z6 because I've owned other Nikon DSLRs. Similarly I can open David Busch's book and find just what I'm looking for because the excellent organization and clear writing is just like his previous books. I'd not have purchased the camera without knowing David's guide would allow me to use it properly. Thanks David!

This is a great book for a good price. I would have given it five stars, but the "new" book looked like used and it was damaged with many dents including the front page.

If you own a Nikon Z6 camera you need this book. Busch's book in the clearest of terms spells out how to use and enjoy this beautiful but complicated camera.

It is so good to be able to travel with a camera guide without any weight. This book fits that bill. The book is much more explanatory than the manual that comes with the camera. I found myself reading it for hours. It is a a good book on this new camera.

Ottime illustrazioni e foto. Altamente raccomandato.I bought this book to have an insight to the whole potentialities of my Z6, finding full confirmation of my expectations. It allows to better know and access the Nikon user manuals, which certainly contains the same base information that are not always reachable at a glance. Excellent illustrations and pictures. Highly recommended.

After going through the book, i would suggest amatures not to buy it. The book contains lot of technical details (80% of the book, hence the volume 522 pages) not necessary for amatures or for normal photography using the z6. The intention here is not to undergo PhD. The manual provided along with the camera is much more useful for learning about your new camera. I feel i have wasted my hard earned money buying this book. Cannot return it as the return window of 15 days is over by the time i could finish reading the book. So guys and gals plz don't waste your money. Just read the literature that Nikon has already provided.

My wife purchased this camera guide book for me after i had bought the Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera. The manual which was supplied with the camera was very basic and i was struggling trying to set many of the cameras various settings. This guide by David Busch is superb and makes setting the camera very simple. I would highly recommend this book to anyone purchasing the Nikon Z6
