Bought this to run on floor from one room to another but it does not bend easily round some of the corners. I felt as if I was pressing the cable too hard to try and get it to lie flat and was scared that I would damage it.

I bought this to bring my wired connection upstairs and to do that I put the cable out of a window and into another. I chose this cable because of the flat design and it paid off. I waited a while to see if it would last and since I ran it outside it has rained heavily many, many times and very strong winds and it is still like it was when purchased, no damage or anything. Speeds are solid, my plan gives me 900mbps down and 180mbps up and it surpasses that almost always. I will include a screenshot of a couple of speed tests with Ookla. I have it plugged into a 2.5Gbps port on an Asus ROG SRIX Motherboard and it is coming from a Zyxel router.

Exactly what I ordered and arrived on time .

I have a 900Mbps FFTTP connection & needed a wired connection running from the router to my home office network switch on the other side of the house. Plugged in & tested, instantly getting >900Mbps. The cable is durable and flat - so it can be run on top of skirting boards. Pack comes with flat clips for affixing to the skirting (or anywhere else you need). It's effectively perfect; very cheap, works perfectly as intended.

However, in a nutshell: Things I liked: + Great data transfer speeds in the end - see the second half of the video. + Price - £11 for 10m seems very reasonable. Things I didn't like: - There was a significant hiccup when I first connected it to the network - initially, it wouldn't recognise the connection between two computers directly. I tried re-seating the cable and reversing it with no improvement. I tested with a laptop plugged directly into the network switch which worked fine, then when I retried the cable in the original setup it also worked fine. So I don't know if it was a glitch in my network or a problem with the cable itself - I don't think it's fair to penalise the cable since it worked in the end, but equally I don't think it's fair to you if I don't mention the issue I had. Do I recommend it? Yes, if you can get it at a decent price and you can test it pretty much straight away. The current price (£11 for 10m) seems very reasonable.
