Review: Really pleased. - I've been wanting to try Sketchers out for a while and I also wanted a "slip-resistant" pair so I'd been looking at these on the Sketchers online shop fortunately for me, my Husband spotted these on desertcart, and for a couple of reasons they were better. As an desertcart Prime member, I was offered a free 7-day trial no quibble return offer and even though we all know if a product has problems we CAN return it however desertcart like many places doesn't make it easy so I thought I'd just give them a try out. The other thing was these were £16 cheaper on desertcart. I'm really happy with them, I've never been able to wear shoes straight away without having to break them in, find where they're going to rub so I can put plasters on to prevent any sores, and then wearing the shoes in the house to get them softened and shaped to my foot But from the momentI I put them on they fit like a glove and not a single rub spot. They fit like a glove and are just so comfortable. Love the simple black design as they look great with jeans. But, I have wide feet, and I always buy a wide fit, these are not a wide fit, and yet they fit perfectly. So that was a bit disconcerting. If you don't have a wide foot then will they be too wide? I don't know if they give the foot circumference in the details but worth a check. As for the anti-slip properties, I did find that on my slippy decking, it was still slippy so I'm not too sure about that feature either. However, I am a total convert to Sketchers and I love them. Super comfortable.

**Q: Are the sketcher SR food service shoes really slip resistant?**
A: I've been wearing them for about 7 months now, in 2 different fast food places and I haven't slipped the first time in them. When the ones I have wear out, I'm buying another pair.

**Q: Do these have shoelaces?**
A: No they're elastic bands that stretch but you can't tie them.

**Q: What does the SR in the description stand for?**
A: I don't know the problems the other people are having, they must be working in REALLY dirty kitchens. I wear them every day in my restaurant and have never slipped. I have slid a little bit when there was ice on our sub-zero freezer floor, but that was all. I would say that if you're in a clean kitchen there's no problems at all. The SR stands for slip resistant and they work fine for me. We have fryers and the dish area, so there are slick potential areas, I haven't slipped on pepperoni or sausage either. They're very comfortable and I spend 10 to 15 hours a day in my business without foot pain. I highly recommend them!

**Q: Are the insoles removeable**
A: I have had mine for a full 7 months now. I average 30 hrs a week and need to replace because I have worn out the right big toe area. I use memory foam insoles AND arch support partials AND heel cushions as well as compression socks. Extremely satisfied if I do all that. You do need to size up and possibly go for wide if you do that though.

With the Skechers name I fully expected a certain standard and it fully delivers on that . Added that these are a wide fit, means they are so comfortable without feeling loose. Only took a day or so of wearing to soften the stiff edge next to the tongue. Wondered how the no laces but would work - perfect fit, nit too tight either. Came up true to size. Shame not many other colours as I would buy more!
