It is very convenient to have a pack of coconut milk powder on hand . Fresh squeezed coconut milk is always the best - but this comes close to the real thing . Flavour is similar to fresh coconut milk . Buying the 1 kg pack is more economical . 100 gm pack costs rs100 while 1 kg pack cost me around 699. Which comes up to less than rs 70 per 100 gm.It can be used for coconut milk based curries like fish, meat and vegetable . Also goes well in desserts that call for coconut milk.Mix with warm water in any thickness and use . Maggi is my preferred brand for coconut milk powder
