Black+Blum James the Bookend (Black) - JJ007

This bookend is awesome. I was looking for something a little different, and this is it! It holds books perfectly, doesn't move around if a book is taken from the stack it's holding.One thing I wanted to point out, in case anyone reads too quickly through descriptions as I did - there is only one bookend here, it's not a set of two you're getting. I was so surprised when I opened the package to see only one James and then went back to the site and saw ohhhh ... yup, it says it's only one, not a set. The description is fine, I just wasn't thorough when I read it. But I figured I'd mention it in case anyone else does the same thing.GREAT product, I can't wait for people to notice it, as I'm sure they will.

I use this book end with ARTORI Design "Falling Books" Falling Bookend Metal Bookend, because BOTH book ends only come with one. So i put this one on one end the the ARTORI Design on the other, so if you stand back and look at the whole shelf it appears that this book end is pushing the books over the books onto the other ARTORI book end. I think together they make a great match!

This cute, single bookend didn't compare favorably to the elegance, function, versatility, or price of our new Kikkerland "Leaning Ladies" and "Leaning Men" bookends. "James the Bookend" is also a little wide for our taste, using up too much space on the shelf. We returned the black one and gave the blue one to our teenage daughter, who loves it.

i wanted to get some of these simply because they are fun to look at and they are my namesake. so glad i did and i am planning on getting a few more. they add a great splash of color and i am actually using 2 of them them to hold up my LP collection and they are doing a fine job :)

I was immediately drawn to this bookend because of how bright and vibrant the color was. It's a great bonus that it happens to come in many different colors. We bought the orange one to go with our other accessories. It goes great with our other quirky items.I was surprised at how sturdy it is! It's a little pricey, but it's a pretty substantial piece.

Love British dramas, clothing and wit. The food-well that's another story. However, this is really a smart and stylish bookend. They have both a doorstop too. I have both the bookshelf in orange. I get a lot of compliments on this. And it works really well. Seriously, if wish I had thought of this.

The bookend is effective. And in the orange color, very striking on my wood bookcase. But only have one -- too pricey for simply a bookend

Love it. It's made with rubber so it doesn't slide even when you take the books in and out.

Looks decorative holding the books up. It is very steady and having rubber feet it's sits solid on the side. Excellent.

Very good. Stops books from falling, very easy to fit underneath books in a row and does look nice.

I love all Black + Blum products. I bought two of these. They are a lot larger than I thought but really, really nice. Will be buying more.Only negative, if you could call it that, is that they take up quite a lot of room and if you are a book fanatic, as I am, you give up space reluctantly that is not taken up by books. However these are worth it.

You can either make your own bookend that does the job but doesn't look nice or buy this which enhances a well decorated room. It is 'different' and enhances the room it is in. Does the job required too. Worth the money if you have a small bit of disposable income.

These look so cool on my shelves. Good quality. Solid and strong.
