Look, i've been playing instruments for 10 years. Ever since I was a little girl. I've played every instrument you could think of. I specialize in brass and specifically in the trombone area. I have trained my embouchure to flex to certain instruments when needed to. This applied to trumpet. Got the trumpet, looked beautiful and had some nice gloves. The valve oil was cheap and half of it leaked in the case because there was a hole in the bottle. I cleaned the case up, thankfully none of it getting on the instrument, and got to tuning/playing. The "bottlecaps" on the valves popped off in five minutes of playing. I super glued the back on with ease because this has even happened on some of my nice Bach baritones as well. I then got to playing. I got this instrument with a comedian sort of view, wanting to playing some melodies for my friends every now and then just for fun. The thing about brass is that the tighter and shorter the instrument, the reduced airflow. This instrument is VERY tightly constricted given the name "pocket trumpet." It's sound was decent and was what I expected. I returned it though, realizing how stupid of a decision I made. It's not the product it was me. All-in-all, the instrument is "ok" for the price, and the quality is decent too.

As a musician, I love to play sax and flute and I want to learn to play the trumpet. I bougth this one and I think I made a great desitio . Excelent for beginners.

Super fun trumpet, plays beautifully. My son loves it. Great Sound. Higher octave than his band trumpet.
