Buddha Board – The Original Water Painting Board for Mindfulness & Creativity – Unique Gift for Artists, Adults & Kids – Mess-Free Zen Art Supplies

My mom loved this gift. It’s very relaxing and fun. I nice to use it as well! Great for stress relief and a reminder to stay creative :)

Very relaxing. I love using this! It is so fun! I would recommend it for older children to adults as you do have to be careful with it. It is something that you need to be gentle with, but still well worth the money and I have bought others for my family.

This is sort of one of my favorite objects now. I've enjoyed sumi-e painting since adolescence and studied it for a bit, but fell out of practice. Now I can make at least one reasonably good image every day, whenever I feel like it, and not waste any paper (which can be hard to get). Although water is not quite as versatile or easy to work with as ink (or at least I'm far less used to it), the images I can make are still quite beautiful and this should be easy and enjoyable for both the beginner and even for a sumi-e practitioner who wants a "sketch pad" to scratch out ideas on and play. Sumi-e painting traditionally has spiritual and ritual components, but it's nice to be able to enjoy the techniques just for fun and playfulness (there is spiritual value there as well). In terms of value added to my life, it's worth twice what I paid for it. It's also very light and a good size that's neither too obtrusive nor too small to be a very good canvas, and the design is attractive even just as a centerpiece on a table. This is absolutely worth the buy.

This was an amazing gift for my teenage daughter. It helps her calm her anxiety and it’s reusable, mess-free, and easy to use.

Fun and mess free entertainment for your budding artist! Great compromise when your kiddo wants to paint, but makes a big mess!

I gave this as a gift to my grandchild. She loves it.

The wonderful Buddha Board inspires creativity. The ease of use makes it possible to freely paint with a confidence that grows... This can be a space for practice, or whatever it needs to be and then the image slowly melts away like a gentle sunset making room for new creation. The design is thoughtful. The painting surface is the appropriate size for any compositions. The painting board (can be adjusted for vertical or horizontal orientation) neatly rests on a multi purpose chamber for the water, which also serves as a resting place for the brush. The brush feels like an extension of my body, it is smooth to handle and easy to grip. The brush bristles can be used for delicate thin brush work, or large bold brush work. The brush dries quickly and maintains it's shape. The Board is visually appealing. The water tray feels like a wooden Japanese bento box, and has a lovely hollow sound as the brush is placed in the cradle. The Buddha Board is a revelation in my artistic journey- it's on my top shelf.

Excellent for controlling hand pressure, calming, therapeutic…. Children calmed down immediately while using the board. They were fascinated by the fact that their painting was slowly disappearing.. Loved it!!!!

I placed the buddha board in a common area for everyone in the family to enjoy. To my great surprise, everyone had a go at using it and had heaps of fun with it. In fact, we started having discussions on how to write certain Chinese characters, which is a great way for us to connect with our older parents. My husband also commented on the fact that he love that it just dries up and disappears, so he doesn't care as much about making mistakes, allowing him to freely draw whatever. Big thumbs up from everyone!

What a unique idea. My daughter and son in law love zen. I new this would be an excellent gift for them. They love it and use it all the time. They move it around to different rooms depending on what they are up to. Great . Love it

Tableau magique, très relaxant pour laisser cours à l'imagination. Tres facile à utiliser. A eu beaucoup de succes comme cadeau à Noël. Le dessin à l’eau se transforme avant de faire disparaître une oeuvre éphémère
