Axminster Rider Double-Sided Diamond Bench Stone

This item was described very well by the seller. It is important to get a mono-crystalline coated steel and this item is excellent quality (as far as I can tell). It flattened my stones well and put a superb edge on my plane iron.

Ease of use

The knife I sharpen has never been so sharp. I have used other whetstones before but this is a class apart

Used in conjunction with a tool to obtain the correct sharpening angles and with a little practice sharpening my chisels was relatively easy. Use with some water helps the process. The diamond coating looks robust but only time will tell if that is the case. Fairly expensive but if it is robust then a price worth paying
