Banzai Cannonball Splash Water Slide

Read all the reviews on the Cannonball splash water slide with body board. We needed something pretty rugged for our gang. Our four little grandsons and one granddaughter loved it. The only problem was not watching the smaller ones close enough as it can get pretty wild with 5,6 and 10 year olds. The 3 and 2 year olds got bumped a few times as they wanted to sit in the pool longer. The solution is fill a small blow-up pool for them and everyone is happy and safer. The only drawback was that it does take a while to set up and our air pump didn't quite do the job. I would say to include an air pump and it would be a big help and worth a few extra bucks! Great hot weather fun!

I was skeptical, because my son was turning 10 and I thought it might be too small for him and his friends. Have no fear - ages 4-13 Loved it ! I had 18 kids (boys mostly) in my backyard for two hours using it and they all had a blast !!! Best birthday party ever! One hint though - buy a Slip'n slide to continue the ride longer. The boys had a great time seeing who could slide the farthest! Just don't inflate the Pool part all the way and it will work great. I did add a some duct tape where the velcro strips were, because i didn't think the velcro would hold. The tape worked well. After 3 days, the body board got a small hole where the seam is, so i patched it. You don't have to use the board, but it is better if you do. If this product lasts the rest of the summer - I've definitely gotten more than my money's worth!!!!!!!

I bought this slide for my daughter's 9th birthday party. There were 10 kids and they all seemed to have a great time. My daughter has enjoyed playing on the slide many times since her party and it is still holding up after 4 weeks of fun. To give you a weight idea, she weighs 67lbs. However, the inflatable boogie board started leaking after the 1st use at the party. My daughter has a foam boogie board she uses with it and it seems to do just fine.**You have to keep a check on the air pressure to prevent tearing the slide up. Like anything else inflatable, when outside it tends to deflate ever though there is no hole. I usually check and reinflate once a week. If you consider the price of a standard slip n slide and compare the two, I think this slide is OK for the price. Me and her dad were skeptical after setting this slide up, but the kids enjoyed it. We were afraid it would be "cheesy" but remember things look smaller to us now that we have grown up so I'm sure it looks bigger to the kids than it does to us.

This product is basically a one season toy at best. I do not deny that for the kids that is is a very fun toy when it is inflated. The problem is that it is not a very durable toy. The plastic is not very thick and the smallest abrasion is more than capable of inflicting a pin hole leak that makes the toy deflate and therefore unusable. The decision on whether to purchase the product needs to be based on if one is willing to spend the money knowing full well that this will be a one season product. If the expectation is that this product will last over a number of summers, then that expectation is unrealistic and should discourage the purchase of the product.

Originally purchased for children 6, 8, and 9 years of age and never used. Our 11 year old next door neighbor played several times and loved trying to see how far past the end of the pool she could slide. Not recommended activity. The yellow slide is too tall for most children to navigate. The pool is very shallow and not very long. A better use for the unit would be to disassemble and use the slide with a traditional swimming pool and allow the babies/toddlers to splash in the blue pool. Sorry I can not recommend.

This product looked so fun. I have a 4 and 2 year old and they did have fun on it. However, it is rated for 5-15 years. No [...]year old would fit on this. I would say ages 2-10 maybe. The slide part would not stay up due to plugs not staying plugged therefore the water that you are supposed to weight the bottom down would not stay in. Also the plastic is not durable at all. Grass clipping punctured it with just one use. Too bad it was not made better because it would have been a fun thing for hot days.

I was very disappointed when this water slide arrived. The pictures and descriptions are VERY misleading. MUCH smaller than I expected. Doesn't appear to be very well made, but we have only had it 1 day, so can't really say if it will hold up or not. My 9 yr. old and 6 yr. old granddaughters also were expecting a much bigger slide, but as it turned out, they had a blast on it. The water slide is okay for the 6 yr. old, but the 9 yr. old is almost too big for it. If it will hold up a couple of months, through the summer vacation, it will be worth it.

I bought this last year for my son's birthday party and it was a hit with the kids. The only drawback to this is that the slide is not attached to the pool. It is held together with velcro straps. This did not bother the kids just the adult that had to keep reattaching it. That is why I didn't give it five stars. But, for the price and the looks on the faces of the kids when they were playing it was worth every penny.
