Updated review
Due to delays, did not attempt to install until after the return window closed. Could not install it due to the flapper sticking open. Flapper stuck open. Could not install. (Updated review - gave it more stars because I was able to get it to loosen up)

Excelente producto

Good Quality, just not what I expected.
I was hoping it would be a better version than the ones I got from China. But it seemed to be exactly same as the ones from China. The different is Logo, while the china ones have no logos. But all & all, it's perfect.Problem is... I got these 2pcs at $60 including shipping and I could get 10pcs from China at same price (free shipping).

Not good at holding pressure
The cut-in on our well is 30-psi, the cut-out is 50-psi. This will hold he 50-psi for about 45-minutes before dropping to the 30-psi cut-in and starting the pump again.I will keep it as it is glued into the system and hopefully the flat seal may bed in a little better over time.Lesson learned though, while it is handy to have it with the glue in fittings, it then hangs together a bunch of your other PVC stuff. I'd have to scrap $30 of other PVC fittings and pipes to remove it, so fingers crossed it settles in.It is currently in a pressure test setting with a 20-gallon pressure tank. There are no visible leaks in the piping, but the header reservoir level rises slightly over time. This clearly indicates seepage through the check valve. If I have to eventually remove it I will opt for the more conventional cylindrical check-valves that screw in. Like this, but in 1".https://www.amazon.com/Vertical-Stainless-Spring-Cracking-Pressure/dp/B07HSWSWS9

Used on hot water heater drain pan
Love this item and it worked exactly as I needed on my application. I correctly drained my hot water heater pan outside the wall and needed something that would prevent lizards from coming in the house. I tested this to make sure if I had a hot water heater leak the water down pressure would open this valve. It opens pretty easy in this application but does the simple task of keeping insects from coming back up my drain pipe

Great sump pump check valve
Install a union at both ends of check valve, clear plastic lets you see any debris at check valve, take apart and clean... reassemble and your done... great product idea

This size works well with 1-1/2 SCH 40 PVC pipe
I installed this in the sump pump line. Instead of gluing it, I used this clear 1" clear check valve with the rubber boots from the old check valve, this way I can easily replace it if needed. Also, the outer diameter of the flanges is the same as that of 1-1/4 SCH 40 PVC pipe, e.g. 1.66". Yes, putting a 1" valve into a 1-1/2 inch pipe creates a local constriction, but I'm still happy with the size and fit and going to keep it like this.

Seems well made
Using For a laundry sink pump discharge. Clear is nice to see if it gets clogged but you have to plumb it with threaded fittings each side and a union to get at the interior in that event. Fits one inch PVC schedule 40 pipe. Company advised me this can be used horizontally or vertically for my intended application. Minimum discharge pressure is one pound.

Works well but reduced flow significantly
Functions very well and sealed with 1" flex PVC. I am using these on an aquarium and it did reduce the flow from the pumps quite a bit. If I had to buy again, I would get one with a swing/flapper design only.

As described.
Used for the return line of my aquarium sump.

leaks
This thing leaks so it's pointless.

Meh. Works when it works.
I have the valve installed vertically and the swing always seems to get stuck open allowing backflow. It'll work for a couple days, then jam up again. Take apart, clean, repeat. Not happy.

Slows flow in return line.
Works great as a check valve for my aquarium sump but noticeably reduces flow rate. I remove the spring and turned it into a gravity hatch valve and it works flawlessly.
