LETMY 2 Pack Camping Lantern with 6 AA Batteries - Magnetic Base - New COB LED Technology Emits 500 Lumens - Collapsible, Waterproof LED Lantern with Detachable Handles (Twin Pack)

Having bought a twin pack previously from Auraglow l am a big fan of pop up laterns. I could not find any by them but came across these very similar and considerably cheeper. I have to say they are good value for money but not as sturdy and although a similar size when folded down the light whem popped is not as big therefore not as bright, they are also quite stiff. All in all I am happy enough with them They are good value for money, as I only intend them for internal use in a dark cupboard they will do the job fine. However if I was to want to use to go camping or outdoors in general I would want to use the brighter more sturdy ones I previously purchased.I can't really give this a bad review nor can it be glowing (excuse the pun!) I think you get what you pay for so if like me these are for inside use you will be happy enough for the price paid. However, if you want something sturdier and brighter it is worth investing a few extra pounds for a better quality product.

Use these for camping and caving and they are brilliant. 4 hrs for batteries before a noticeable drop off in lighting performance but they illuminate so well. Well worth the money

The lanterns are easy to use, pop in the batteries by unscrewing the base, lift the two metal handles and pull.To shut off push down and it's off. It is not advisable to look straight at them as your eyesight will go for a bit (talking from experience). I think these are nice for tents however if you hang them up they do cast shadows so it isn't complete light coverage. They are not heavy considering they are made to be sturdy. My ones did not get hot at all and I did have them lying inside my tent on my sleeping bags and nothing happened. Do pack extra batteries as the ones provided lasted a disappointing 3 hours and then the light was too dim to see the playing cards. The magnetic base does work, however for me was not needed as I was in a tent.

You get two lanterns in one box, when closed they are about the size of a coffee mug. The batteries for both lights are included. You simply twist off the bottom part to insert 3 AA batteries in each lantern, raise the metal arms on each side, pull upward & the light comes on. To turn it off you just push the top back down. So simple to use. I took a photo of the floor of my cupboard which was in complete darkness and you can see how bright it is with one lantern (I didn't use a camera flash and my cupboard had no other light source) I can't comment on battery life as I haven't used them for a long periods yet. You can hang the lantern, stand it on a surface, attach it to metal as it has magnets on its flat bottom. The light is very bright with no flicker. They are lightweight & solidly made. These get a double thumbs up from me.

My son has one similar to these for his trailer tent in Canada and I was impressed by it on a recent visit and ordered these for our camper van as soon as i returned to UK. They arrived quickly and well packaged with batteries included. Used them for the 1st time on a short trip this week. They feel very sturdy and well made, the operating function is easy and i love the fact the brightness is easily adjustable. Handles very useful and the magnets on the base are a great idea, something my sons didn't have, stuck them horizontally on the side of our van during the evening and my wife and i had 1 each by our beds for the certain trip to the toilet block in the dead of night...very pleased with them so far.

This is a Christmas gift for my grandson his grandad is making him a treehouse for Christmas 🎄 really pleased when it arrived looks great .it will be safe for him to hang up

These lights were purchased for my garden to use outdoors in summer and I have used the magnets on bottom to put on my gas boiler. This would be great for emergency lighting, very very very bright. To open you pull apart and light comes on, they have wire handles which fold out of the way and are quite light. The magnet is very strong and these are very sturdy. They are excellent value and work very well.

I bought two of these lamps for emergency use in case of a power cut. They are very bright and feel well made and sturdy. With batteries included, they are ideal for power cuts etc. Not sure how long the batteries last yet.
