pitaka for Google Pixel 10 Pro XL Case 6.8", Caseless Feeling, Black/Grey

I am a long term iPhone user, switched to Android and have been loving the new Pixel 9. The hardest thing I missed from the iPhone was the MagSafe feature. So, when it comes to cases I went to my favorite manufacturer Pitaka. I have been using Pitaka cases for several years on my iPhone, on my iPads. Here are more features about the case. * Ultra-slim design: Preserves the Pixel 9's sleek aesthetic without adding bulk. * MagSafe compatibility: Seamlessly integrates with MagSafe accessories for convenient charging and mounting. Magnetic strength is pretty strong. * Wireless charging friendly: No need to remove the case for wireless charging. * Precise button cutouts: Ensures easy access to all ports and buttons. Pros: * The case's lightweight nature feels fantastic in the hand. * The aramid fiber weave adds a unique texture and visual appeal. * The MagSafe compatibility is a huge plus for those who rely on wireless charging and accessories. Cons: * Due to its material the case attracts fingerprints, requires frequent wipes for the phone to look shiny. * While the protection is good, it may not be as robust due to its slim design. Overall: The Pitaka Pixel 9 case is a fantastic choice for those who prioritize a minimalist design and exceptional build quality. It offers decent protection, MagSafe compatibility, and a comfortable grip. If you're looking for a case that doesn't sacrifice style for functionality, then Pitaka is definitely worth considering.

Aaron button does not work. NFC sensor was moved in the Pixel 11 series to the top right edge of the phone above the flash light. I would give it 3 stars considering the case itself is great. However, the fact that the Pitaka team didn't do its proper diligence before manufacturing shows a major flaw in their design process. I will be returning the case and hope that a new/updated version of the case is released. I highly doubt it though as I am sure these cases are manufactured in major numbers and the lifespan is basically one year.

This is my second Pitaka case. And by most things I've looked at, it's better than last year in every way. 1st, they finally have color options for Pixel devices. This gradient blue looks amazing on the black Pixel 11 Pro XL. It's a very tight fit, so that makes it feel even more premium somehow. I was afraid I was going to break it, but their instructions for removal was spot on. The feel while it's on is amazing. Makes the phone almost zero grams heavier and not bigger at all, but still less slippery. Only one complaint is the website not being updated to register for the warranty and the "Aaron button" being disabled for the foreseeable future. That button according to some is a new weak point for the case. So if it's not going to work, it's a useless thing that makes the case less durable. But if you leave it on, it should be no problem.

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) The case itself is absolutely amazing. The aramid fiber weave feels incredible in the hand, adding virtually no bulk while offering a fantastic, high-end texture. One detail the product photos really don't do justice is the silver camera ring—it has a subtle, twisted metallic design around the edge that looks far better and more premium in person than standard flat trim. Unfortunately, the headline feature—the programmable Aaron Button—does not work at all due to a clear manufacturing design oversight. The button operates via an embedded passive NFC tag. On the phone, the NFC antenna is located at the top edge above the camera bar. However, PITAKA placed the NFC contact patch inside the case below the camera cutout, next to the MagSafe ring. When the case is snapped on, the chip is physically too far away from the phone's antenna to register. When testing the case uninstalled by holding that internal patch directly against the area above the camera, the NFC tag registers instantly—confirming the chip works, but it was manufactured in the wrong physical location. Customer support is currently aware of this and offering a small partial refund while telling buyers they are disabling the shortcut function. If all you want is an ultra-slim, stunning aramid case with MagSafe, the build quality and aesthetic are top-notch. But if you are buying this specifically for the shortcut button, you will need to wait until they redesign the physical placement.

4.5 Stars! I really appreciate the slim form factor of this case for the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The carbon fiber design is a joy to look at and pleasant to the touch. Protection: While I do like the slimness of the case, I was a bit concerned (and rightfully so) about the minimal lip protection for the screen. I am generally good about not dropping my phone, but I had two terrible drops on pavement with this case on and both drops left some minor dings along the frame of the phone (thankfully no screen damage). Now this is not the fault of the case, but when it comes to drop protection on scratchy surfaces, this case is not the best. The exposed area around the buttons is a prime spot for nicks and scratches, too. But for drops on hardwood floors, carpet, and laminate flooring, you should be good, but raspy, hard surfaces will get through. Magnetic Strength: This case has the best magnetic strength that I have ever experienced on a phone case. Magnetic attachments cling with a hard click to it. It sticks to most gym equipment easily and firmly. It holds all batteries, even 10K mah ones firmly in place as well. Durability and upkeep: The case is easy to clean, but does collect smudges from oily fingers. A quick wipe down and the occasional cleaning with an alcohol wipe keeps it looking clean. It handles dings and drops fairly well, but you will see some discoloration if the drop is on a scratchy surface like concrete. Overall this is a very nice case that let's you appreciate the silhouette of your phone while offering great functionality for magsafe attachments but only some mild protection from drops.

Do don't buy this case if you plan on using the Aaron button. The placement of the NFC chip is too far away for the phone to get the signal. Nice case outside of that.

If you’re looking for a sleek, no-bulk case for your Pixel 9 Pro, then this slim Carbon Fiber Pitaka case is probably the best one out there. It snaps on perfectly and stays put, which is great because you know it’s not coming off easily. The material feels smooth but grippy, and it’s tough enough to resist scratches. The matte metal bumper around the camera adds some nice protection and compliments the phone so well. All the ports and buttons are perfectly aligned, so no issues using your phone. It’s not for heavy-duty protection, but if you want something that looks sleek and still handles everyday bumps, this case is perfect!

Partly my fault as I didn't see the back only part. The half of the case you get is great don't get me wrong, but what is the point to only having the back of the case? there's 0 coverage protection for the front of the phone. For the 70 dollar price point I just can't recommend this. If it was a whole case even then that's a high price point. if only half a case is what you're looking for then by all means. I like a minimalist case but this isn't minimalist this is half the case literally missing.

Produit de grande qualité : une finesse remarquable et un ajustement parfait qui rendent la protection quasi imperceptible et qui, une fois installée, la rende un peu difficile à retirer. Le toucher est agréable. Le seul petit défaut lié à la matière elle-même, ce sont les traces de doigts qui apparaissent facilement.

Super coque, finitions impeccables, le magsafe en prime, que demander de plus ?
