How is the built qualty and finish?

great for the metal stuff ,but the plastic stuff could have been better built but for me i only wanted the tweezers and metal spudger.....

I just got mine. I was just pondering. What is the opening tool used for?

I got mine to open boxes or cases with fine joint lines. Examples are the backs of watches to change batteries, smart phone cases, model rail road car joints to be into the interior, etc. I selected this set because depending on the item to be opened some pry tools work better than others for the given task, which I have found to be true as expected.

Are these to small for laptop repair?

Yes. They are not suitable and were not for that purpose. BRIEF, they are too small and unsuitable to this task

Do these come in the case, as shown?

In 2015 they did not come in the roll pouch. It was added in 2016 and has been shipping as shown in the photos ever since.
