Review: Great tap - Very good tap, great value and easy to put together. My only slight gripe is I'm not 100% certain the hot and cold tap feed where the tails screw into the body were labels correctly as the hot was cold and the cold was hot. I switched them over but only after the tap was installed and I spotted this problem. It might actually have been my fault for not reading the instructions. Either way, the tap seems to work brilliantly and looks great.

**Q: Is it quiet for cold/hot water?**
A: Can be installed Hot and cold water

**Q: Which way do the mixer taps need turning to activate the water, is it one way or both back and forth?**
A: My tap works in the following way.  Drinking water - pull forward (doesn't move backwards and doesn't move side ways). Soft water tap - Moves forward and back.  However, to initiate the flow, the lever has to be pulled sideways (or away from the tap) and determines the force of flow required.  Once the water is running, move the lever forward for cold water and back for warmer/hot water.  Hope this helps.

**Q: How much clearance do I need to the rear of the tap to fully open the hot/cold handle?**
A: I have 60mm behind my tap and the handle just touches the tiles behind the tap. Works perfectly.
This tap is probably the best kitchen tap I've had and having filtered water is great.

**Q: Is this tap compatible with acro4 reverse osmosis system?**
A: No idea. Ask the manufacturer they are really helpful.

Very good tap, great value and easy to put together. i had absolutely no issues installing this. The tap looks great, functions perfectly, feel nice to use with smooth and slick movement, and it does everything once would expect from a tap. I have hot, cold and filtered working. The system to attach to the worktop is easy and fixes tight. There is a rubber seal recessed to allow a good seal to the worktop. The physical movement of the spout is smooth and stiff. The individual taps move firm with a smooth feel and stop firmly. The whole tap feel solid and I am very happy with it. Impressed as it took me a long time decide which tap would be suitable, and this was the best value for money rather than spending more than double for a popular branded one when this is perfectly good. I even managed a £20 discount with applying for the Amazon credit card, so I only ended up paying about £60 :-) Enjoy.
