Review: Keep your old parts handy - The kit has everything you need to do the job. There are no instructions but the process is pretty self explanatory. It's an easy shell swap. I would just like to echo another reviewer who said keep your old parts because you might need them. When i put it together the first time the D-Pad stuck really bad. I put the old D-Pad rubber contact thing back in it and it worked just fine. Also pay attention to your screws. They are different lengths and the new screws are all Phillips head not Torx. Great product though. Highly recommend.

The kit has everything you need to do the job. There are no instructions but the process is pretty self explanatory. It's an easy shell swap. I would just like to echo another reviewer who said keep your old parts because you might need them. When i put it together the first time the D-Pad stuck really bad. I recently found my old Gameboy color and everything worked… except the start button. Found a forum that said it could be the contacts under the buttons could be corroded and to clean them. I didn’t have the tools to take it apart to just buy the tool is a few dollars cheaper than this kit, but I figured I’d go ahead and replace all the buttons while I was in it. I cleaned all the contacts with alcohol and then put new buttons and new screws in it and everything works and looks great!
