I used to have a toilet light from Walmart (Feist brand) so I'll compare this one to that. This light has great motion detection and brightness (a little brighter than the Feist brand). One thing I notice is that it doesn't turn off in the daytime as easily as my former light. My toilet is in a somewhat shaded area in the bathroom and it isn't always bright enough for the light to not activate during the day. That's not really a pro/con but just an observation. What I really like compared to my former light is that this one stays in place on the toilet rim sooo much better. I have not had to fidget with it once so far. I will have to wait and see how long this lasts as well as battery life but it's also only $8 for a 2 pack so, as of now I can certainly recommend. Update: My two pack lasted from May 22 until then end of November so they are good for a few months a piece. During the time they work, they work great but eventually the led light fails. I'd like longer durability but for only $7 it's still a good purchase. I just bought another 2 pack. Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Convenient and Fun Addition to the Bathroom! - I recently installed the MIEFL Toilet Light Motion Activated Sensor in my bathroom, and it has been a delightful and practical upgrade! The light activates automatically when someone approaches, making it incredibly convenient for those late-night trips to the bathroom without having to fumble for the switch. The multiple color options are a fun touch, allowing you to customize the bathroom ambiance to your liking. The light is bright enough to provide clear visibility but not too harsh on the eyes. The installation was a breeze, and the adjustable arm fits securely on the toilet bowl without slipping. Overall, this toilet light has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and convenience. It's a small yet impactful addition to any bathroom. Highly recommend it! ## Features - 【MOTION-ACTIVATED&LIGHT SENSING】This toilet light, when activated, uses two sensors to work; It can detect motion within 6.6 FT and will glow when you are within 6.6 FT of it; Conversely, will end up working after 2 minutes; Light sensing makes it work only in the dark; So, when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you don't need to turn on the light - 【16 TOILET LIGHT COLORS】This toilet light has 16 colors for you to choose from, so your toilet is as bright as a party; When it automatically switches colors, you just need to press a switch to adjust to a fixed color - 【5 BRIGHTNESS LEVELS】This toilet light has 5 brightness levels and will automatically adjust the brightness according to the ambient light; Achieve power saving purpose to extend the service life, very smart toilet light as white elephant gift, gag gift, guy gifts, grab bag gifts and stocking gifts - 【COOL & FUNNY DECORATION】Our 16 color toilet bowl light makes going to the bathroom a lot more entertaining; Choose a fixed color or carousel mode for a fun toilet lights show; Halloween pranks, small funny gift for Christmas, Father's Day, Mother's Day, Children's Day...etc - 【EASY TO INSTALL &CLEAN】Only 3 AAA batteries are needed for power supply work; (Batteries not included) Toilet bowl light can be wiped clean with detergent or wet paper towels, easy to clean. The light is in the bowl. It really doesn't get wet unless your toilet has high pressure water. We love ours. We have one in each bathroom. **Q: how do I install the toilet light?** A: Install 3 batteries watching the polarity and light should be ready. Place the body of the light against the front of the toilet and shape the wire across the top edge of the toilet with the light inside the bowl. Be sure wire is tight against the toilet. The light will come on when the room is dark. **Q: Does it really only sense motion from 6 ft away ?** A: Yes, the motion sensor could detect from 6.6ft away, just right about the common distance from the door to the toilet bowl. It could help to prevent eating up the battery too fast. **Q: I put the battery in the toilet light and it didn't respond, like it wasn't working. Why?** A: I think so,it has to be in a dark room and activated by motion sensing. In this way it acts like a night light. It lights up when I go to the toilet late at night. It's like I'm having a late night party, so much fun.And I found that during the day it would stop working. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great so far *by A***R on 28 May 2024* I just recently started using this item so I cannot yet speak to it's durability however it is currently working pretty well.
