Gaiam Easy-Cinch Yoga Mat Sling - Durable Carrying Strap for Yoga Mat with Metal D-Rings for Secure Fit (No Mat Included)

Just what I needed to easily take my yoga mat to the gym. I needed to find something to keep my yoga mat rolled up as I keep it in the back of my car. It can be a little tricky to use, but once you figure out what direction the strap should go it works well! Can adjust to any size. I haven't used it as a yoga strap yet, but I like that I have it!

An easy-to-use one-piece strap. It goes on quickly, and will fit any size mat. The mat can then be carried over the shoulder or slung cross-body (provided you're not too large a person). The strap comes off fairly easily.The strap has two permanent loops using metal O-rings. Just roll up the mat, slide the loops onto the mat, and tighten. Friction keeps the loops in place and it all feels pretty secure for such a basic mechanism. Reversing the procedure (taking the mat out) isn't quite as slick as the clasp-based  YogaDirect Harness Sling , but the strap itself is a lot less complicated (and cheaper). This Gaiam product also seems much sturdier than slings that use only velcro, or that don't have rings/clasps.Slung cross-body, I don't look nearly as cute as the pictured model (I'm a 5'10" average-build male). The fit is a little tight, but it works. If the mat was much bigger than my regular-sized Manduka Eko (or if I was much bigger) cross-body would not work. Over-the-shoulder is easier and feels more natural.My only real complaint is the lack of color choice (and inability to select a color, I got the teal-blue). Recommended for a basic, easy-to-use sling that won't have you fumbling around with your yoga mat.

Works well for what it was made for. Helps you carry your yoga mat without it unrolling. Easy to use, and the colors can help you personalize your equipment.

I bought this for my wife to use with her Gaiam workout mat. It is easy to use as it has a self tightening clasp that is easy to wrap around the mat once you have it rolled up. Which would make this easy to use for any brand of mat. It seems very durable and I believe that it would last forever. It comes in several colors. I would definitely recommend this item.

Simple, easy way to carry my mat from the car into the studio. Keeps the mat from flopping all over the car. Straps can also be used as a prop as needed. Happy with this purchase.

I didn’t think a yoga strap was that important but finally gave in after months of fumbling with my mat. This strap is basic and gets the job done. It was inexpensive and yes - using a strap does make transporting mat easier

Very quick and easy to use.My mat is kinda heavy, so the canvas strapping bites into my shoulder when wearing a tank top, which is usually the case when practicing.Additionally, the straps tend to loosen when my rolled mat is stored. This is quickly and easily remedied.Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.
