RECOMMEND. 100% worth it
Yep, they are as good as they say. Worth every penny. First earbuds to have 3 separate speakers in each earpiece. One dedicated to base. Bass can be decreased or increased via the app. PROS -Best sound I've heard from earbud-style headphones. These sound better than the Airpods Pro 1's I own. I don't choose to listen to music on Airpod's level-of sound-quality, but I would listen to music on these. -3 different sizes of eartips, AND 3 different sizes of wingtips. -Many different end-results (all the ones you could want) can be achieved via tapping. Volume can be adjusted !from! earpieces. -I can be 3-4 times as far away from my phone as I could on Airpods(Android)!! Airpods, when you are too far-away the-connection will drop, and you have to go back to the phone to pair. Status', when you are too far-away the connection will stutter, eventually cut-out, BUT when you go back close-enough to the phone it will !automatically! just start playing again. -Battery-life is noticeably more. 2-3times more. CONS -CRAZY too-hard, literally near-impossible to put-on a different ear-tips. I can BARELY do it. Strong potential to tear eartips while attempting this. -Airpods are the more-comfortable of the the two. I will forget I have Airpods on, not with these (little more weight/size) -Status' stick-out further, & aren't-very streamlined so... they can get caught on stuff, are not-compatible with winter-hats, etc. -The tap-controls require you to be very precise, and don't always do what you want. ~25% of tap-attempts fail. Hard-to-not adjust the volume by-accident when trying to do a tap-command. Instructions point to the back center of the UPPER-1/2... but I find the center of the whole-back works best. A-little painful-&-loud tapping it to-do tap-commands. No one wants these in black, dont even make them in black.

Incredibly amazing for such a small unit!
I've been looking into these for months now, especially when I learned that this company uses TRIPLE driver technology- As soon as I saw this I was sold. Coming from old, beaten 1st gen airpods I've had for nearly 5 years which their batteries are on their last days, WOW...Airpods won't hold a candle to these things for audio quality! As a professional musician I pay very close attention to audio quality, and I can hear every single frequency clear as a bell with these. Airpods sound somewhat muffled because they lack treble frequency. I also tested the active noise cancellation on these, which don't completely shut out all exterior noise, but don't expect it to; rather, it reduces noise than completely shutting it out. I tested it playing music while banging my tea kettle or a can of beer against my desk, and it actually works pretty well overall; Not only that it's very easy to turn on or off with its buttons. As for the drivers, I also have a set of Shure SE425's that are dual drivers, and those are in-ear monitors for on-stage use during performing gigs. For everyday listening the TRIPLE driver delivers incredibly detailed sound quality, especially for those with some hearing loss. The touch controls are also incredibly convenient, as most earbuds don't have all of these controls. You may have to study how to use the controls for a bit, but once you understand them all, it's completely worth the convenience! My old airpods had none of these. While the 3ANC's don't have the optical wear sensors like the pro x and airpods do, I also don't really need them anyways; it's convenient enough to tap one of the buds once to pause the music. The new airpods 4 sells for exactly the same price as these but the 3ANC's are a FAR better value especially when they have all the features the airpods pro 3 has, but for less than half the price. I aimed to buy these for months and I am so glad I finally did! ALL PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS SHOULD BUY THESE!!! Not only them but anyone who has high standards for audio quality.

Great sound and comfort, poor controls and ANC
For context to my opinion on the sound of these buds, I previously owned a pair of airpod pros which I returned due to the sound being incredibly flat. I also tried out a pair of the technics AZ80s which had nice sound but were really sharp on the highs to the point that straight I couldn’t listen to some of my favorite songs. I also thought the AZ80s felt cheep, but the AirPods felt very nice quality. Pros: The sound on these things is great! The highs mids and lows come through extremely clear, and these are definitely the best earbuds I’ve owned for listening to music. This said, I like really bass heavy sound so you may need to use the equalizer. The fit on the 3ANC is also fantastic. For me personally, the AirPod pros would fall out of my ears and hurt when I smiled. Neither are a problem here with the sizing options, so I would really recommend for people who have had issues with ear size. I was also worried they would visually stick out of my ears, but they look quite nice all things considered. The physical quality of these is mid to high. Definitely not on the level of the AirPods, especially with how the touch controls handle, but not plastic feeling and light like the AZ80s. The metal exterior is nice to the touch so long as it’s not too cold outside. Cons: Going to go in a bit more detail here but it doesn’t mean the cons outweigh the pros. WHY IS THE CONTROL TO TURN UP THE SOUND PRESSING AND HOLDING THE RIGHT EARBUD? I honestly would have given these a five star rating had this been different. Let’s say I’m taking out my right earbud first to put it back in the case, and I close my hand around it. Suddenly the bud processes this as me turning up the volume, and shoots up so quickly it’s awful. Alternatively, let’s say it’s extremely cold outside and the metal exterior earbuds are getting cold in your ears. Should you cup your and around them, the volume again will shoot up exponentially. This would not be a problem if the app had the ability to change touch controls, but it does not. Compared to the AirPod pros, the ANC leaves a lot to be desired. I commute daily on a train, and the 3ANCs don’t block out a lot of the high pitched squeaking. They also have a little “hiss”, but it’s not that much of a problem for me. I get what they’re going for with the voice that says connected etc, but it sounds like a man whispering very close to my ears and I’m kind of creeped out about it. It’s a real person, which is cool, but I personally would probably prefer something that sounds like they’re speaking at normal volume. Finally, I still thought that really high pitch noises such as certain cymbal crashes and people saying a sharp “s” sound were weirdly loud (same problem with the az80s) but this may be a me issue. This problem isn’t too bad, though, and I messed with the equalizer to basically fix it. Overall: Overall, again I really like these buds. Much better purchase in my opinion than the AirPods or AZ80s, but I’m mostly using for music rather than calling.

The Earbuds for True Audiophones Have Arrived
I consider myself an audiophile. I’ve got a great home recording studio. I know myself stuff when it comes to audio. But I don’t know as much as my neighbor does. He’s an expert live sound and studio designer and installer. So when he saw me wearing my AirPods Pro (which I’ve loved just for the convenience with all my Apple gear) and asked me if I’d heard of Status earbuds, I was curious. He said they were the best earbuds he’d ever listened to - that they were true audiophile devices. He told me he could clearly hear bass around 30hz - CLEARLY. I found this hard to believe, because I’d never tried or even heard of an earbud that could generate clear 30hz tones. But he absolutely had my curiosity piqued, so I ordered a pair of the bone white. The fact they were $139 made me more skeptical; how could a manufacturer sell something that sounded as good as my neighbor said for $139? But what did I have to lose? If they were no good, I’d just return them and stick around the Apple universe. They arrived yesterday. I put them in and pulled up Flacbox to run them through my playlist of earbud testing songs, full expecting to be underwhelmed. And…. Holy moly, folks. Every single thing my neighbor said was true. And then some! I have NEVER, ever heard a pair of buds that sound like these. They aren’t artificially bass-heavy like most popular brands these days. In fact, they’re *reference* buds. Music sounds like the artist/engineer/mastering engineer intended. Because of the triple drivers (one for bass, one for mids and one tweeter for highs), there’s a level of instrument separation that I didn’t think was possible in earbuds. I’m hearing new things in songs I’ve heard thousands of times. Clear harmonies. Instrument parts that were muddled on every other earbuds or headphones? Clear as day through these. On Massive Attack’s “Angel”—the pulsing bass line is crisp and clean without losing any punch. I ran a frequency sweep on them (I used an old blueberry condenser mic, but plan on running it again with a measurement mic later) to tweak the eq a little. But it really doesn’t require much EQ out of the box. Status includes three EQ presets, and those who aren’t technical/don’t want to futz with dialing in the EQ will be perfectly happy with one of those three presets. They paired with my iPhone and my Mac Pro quickly, and since they’re dual-device-capable, it’s very easy to switch back and forth. To get the best seal (in order for ANC to work effectively), I had to switch to the largest tips of the packet of tips they sent. It’s *almost* a perfect seal, but not quite, so I ordered some of the memory foam tips. They are secure in my ear. They don’t slip out when I’m running, biking or rowing. They feel invisible — I’ve already forgotten I’m wearing them a few times. Using the touch controls to start/stop songs and control the volume took a little bit to get used to, but that’s likely because I’ve been using AirPods and AirPods Pro since the first generation. I got the Bone White color mostly because they were on sale for $10 cheaper. CONCLUSION If you’re looking for a pair of buds that are super bass-heavy, and you don’t care about clarity or about hearing the music the way the artist intended it to be heard, these aren’t for you. Go get some Beats if that’s what you want. If you want to hear music sound the way it was meant to, these are absolutely for you. 100%. These buds would be a steal at $249. They sound far, far better than the priciest buds on the market today. That they’re $139 is simply incredible to me. Get yourself a pair of Status Between 3ANC. You will not regret it, and they will give you a listening experience unlike anything you’ve ever experienced from any other earbuds.

So much for so little. A gem buy for $99.
I got a mess of advertisements in Facebook after some interest I must have clicked on or idk. Lemme tell you I got new Bowers cans right next to me and I would rather listen to these. The separation and detail is exactly as advertised. You can hear details you have never heard before on very familair songs. And the bass for you bass heads...?Its there. You have to work the eq. SOUND beautifier app helps. Its worth the $99.
