Very condition. Came very well packaged. I am a Tintin fan and enjoying reading all the books from time to time. I had lost some of my old ones, so as an adult was trying to complete my collection so that I can reread the books as an adult.

As a child, I remember going to the library and checking out the Tintin books and being drawn into the adventure, wishing I could be Tintin.Now in my late 20's, I have decided to purchase all the Tintin books so that when my 2 year old is a bit older, I can share the world of Tintin with him :-D

This book is part one of 2
This is an attractive cartoon strip adventure story, with great illustrations. I think it is best enjoyed after reading earlier books in the series so that the reader is familiar with the different characters. It is quite important to realise that this is the first part of a two-part story. The second book is "Prisoners of the Sun". Children might be disappointed when they reach the end of the first book if they haven't got the second book to read!
