A typical Silicone case cover is expected to achieve three functionalities:-1. Easiness of fit2. Overarching3. Minimal yellowing1. Easiness of fit- This cover is definitely not the best on metrological tolerances. While no one wants a clearance fit in the case cover, but it is also not desirable to have to struggle to fit the cover. The dimensions are a bit smaller than required especially in the longitudinal direction it is inevitable to see tight fit.2. Overarching i.e., covering the back of the phone and emboss at the front bezels to prevent direct screen hit on face-first impact. Unfortunately for this cover, the overarching is minimal and the level of front bezel cover is nearly at the screen level itself. The phone becomes more vulnerable at the top and bottom bezel. Hence, I wouldn't have my money on the cover for a face-first drop.While one may argue that the purpose of screen protection is to be served by the screen guard and not back case, you would definitely not want to change your screen guard at every phone drop.3. Minimal yellowing. Polymer covers tend to develop yellow or dark colours over time due to degradation resulting from repeated exposure to sunlight and temperature. This cover does a good job than many other covers. It's been 2 months now and the colour modification is least of all the silicone covers I have used in the past.
