Great for deviled eggs!!!
Works awesome for filling deviled eggs! It's small so you have to refill after about 8 eggs, but it's easy enough to do. Easy to clean. A game changer from the messy Ziploc bag method. Love it!

Fill deviled eggs well
I used it to fill deviled eggs. It worked great. On the second batch it was harder to push the egg yolk mixture through. Perhaps the mixture was not smooth enough and had some lumps.

Inject some EZ into your Kong stuffing
I use this injector to stuff my dog's Kongs, and it's fairly easy to use. You just need to figure out the max amount of product to put into the syringe so it doesn't overflow when you put the plunger back on. It does get a bit messy when loading it, but it makes filling my 20 Kongs so much faster than the old spoon-and-tap method.I haven't used it for decorating or anything other than Kongs, but I figure it'll suffice and work well. It's easy to clean, with all the pieces coming off. I just wish it came in a bigger size. I can fill about three small Kongs and maybe two medium Kongs before I have to reload. For dog moms on the go who want to load up a bunch of Kongs, freeze them, and give them to your pups before you leave for the day to help with their anxiety, I definitely recommend this tool to help with the prep!

Easy to use, easy to clean, GREAT for deviled eggs!
I follow (try, anyway) a low carb/keto diet, so deviled eggs are a staple in my refrigerator. But what a pain to fill with a spoon! And they looked, well, messy. Certainly not something I'd feel proud to take to a party or a potluck. I tried using piping tips with bags, but so much of the filling was wasted inside the bag. Not a big deal with icing, but if you run out of egg mixture, you have a problem. That's why I decided to try this product, and am I ever delighted with it!First of all, it's a nice size. Not too big, so it's comfortable in my hand, but holds a generous amount of filling. So easy to use with one hand, too. You just loop two fingers into the openings on each side of the plunger and push down with your thumb. No cramping from squeezing a piping bag - a big plus if you have arthritis and/or limited grip strength. Filling the container is so easy, too. You just twist the cap holding the plunger off, spoon in filling, screw the cap back on, and you're in business. No trying to hold a sticky bag open with one hand while you try to spoon in more filling (a lot of fun, if you've ever tried it - NOT!).It comes with a decent selection of tips that will work for all but the fanciest of decorating needs. Now, I do have a quite large set of piping tips, plus Russian tips, that are meant for use with bags, and they will not work with this. However, if you're looking to pump some filling into cupcakes or doughnuts, or, like me, swirl some filling into deviled egg shells, this baby will do the trick.Wash up is a breeze! The entire thing comes apart in seconds and cleanup literally took me less than a minute. Best of all, I was able to use almost all of the filling. Very little was stuck to the sides, since the plunger very neatly scraped almost all of it down toward the tip. Maybe a teaspoon was left inside the tip and on the bottom of the plunger, which was easy to scoop out and top off that last egg. I ate that one right away! All in all, I love this gadget. It's very well made and seems sturdy enough to last for years. I may even buy another one as a spare, just in case.

Okay cheap decorating set, poor packaging
I mainly need this decoration set for making cakes and cupcakes, where I want precision frosting placement. Despite the product description, only a little of this is actually 'stainless steel', namely the plunger rod; the rest is plain plastic. It comes with a decent variety of tips and is easy to assemble. I do like the grip and should have no difficulty decorating with it.My chief complaint is the packaging: The box was barely sealed and during shipping, it deformed, opened, and the tips all spilled out into the shipping container. They completely missed a bet in not putting the tips into a plastic bag or small boxโor as I did, which was to unscrew the top of the injector device and deposited all the tips inside! That way they won't get lost.Overall though, I'd say this is one of those 'you get what you paid for' situations. Still, it should do what I need it to do.

Great for Deviled Eggs!
I'm so happy with this, I have used the bag type icing sets, but they take skill and cleaning I don't find convenient. This one was easy the first use for deviled eggs and has several different accessories included. (if doing deviled eggs)Be sure to keep it slightly moistened either with mayo or you could just use a teaspoon or two of water. I was so pleased that my usual messy eggs were actually uniform and pretty. Some relish got stuck, and I had to pull it out but it wasn't much of an issue. It is easy to wash, I rinsed the parts right after and used a bit of soap and it was done in a minute. Very pleased with this little device, it is small and I put it with the accessories in a sandwich bag. I will use this for other recipes as well.

Easy to use
Coolest tool! I regularly make and take deviled eggs to parties and potlucks. People love them, and theyโre so easy to make. I got this item to pipe the yolk mixture into the whites, and it works Great! It makes the deviled eggs fancy, and professional. This piping tool is wonderful.

I bought it specifically for deviled eggs
...and for deviled eggs I highly recommend this cake decorating syringe made by NorPro. I've been making them a lot in the last month and every time have gotten frustrated trying to spoon or fork the sticky deviled egg filling into the wells of the halved eggs. Just too much time and mess let alone a quite less than pretty end result. The tube on this syringe device holds 1/2-cup of filling (equivalent of 3 "Jumbo" size egg yolks made into deviled egg recipe) with a little room left over and the plunger scrapes it well down the inside of the tube as you advance the plunger. Once finished, you have a little more that you can scrape out of the tip as well as off the head of the plunger. (I use a very thin flexible silicone spatula to fill it, with very little mess and no waste.A couple of reviews discouraged putting it in dishwasher, so I clean it by hand with a bottle brush, presenting no particular hassle at all. Another couple of reviews expressed concern that the post of the plunger seemed fragile, but I don't find it to be. The whole device looks well made to me and everything fits together tightly. Eight tips are included that would cover pretty much any decorating pattern if using for cakes. For deviled eggs I use the larger of the two flower-shaped tips (the one with rounded top) which works great. If making more deviled eggs, figure on a refill every 3, or probably 4, Large eggs worth of finished recipe which I don't think would be particularly additionally messy or difficult.I also like the fact that the tube is clear see-through plastic, not metal. I mean you need to be able to see how much you're going through as you are working. All in all, I'm quite happy with it and certainly can't complain about the price, so a 5-star recommendation from me.
