The bamboo jersey fabric is simply sewn into a skull cap form with a serger seam down the middle. There is no added band finishing; in the way of preventing the bamboo cap from slipping off ones' head. I imagine this cap works well as a hat liner for a bald head. However, it would be unsuitable as a wig cap, as it is too hot. The cap does not offer adequate coverage, if one has natural African American that is a longer length. For me, it failed as a wig cap. And the bamboo fabric has stretched out. Subsequently, it slips off when trying to wear it as a protective cap around the house. The best part about this product is the bamboo fabric.
