Lot of heavy vibrations for cutting wood. I think the teeth are wide pitch not fine pitch. You have to press the jigsaw firmly down and have the job held on a flat table to control the vibration and do cutting. Thats the reason for the heavy vibration and irregular fraying of the top edge. Jigsaws cut on upstroke (when you manually use a saw you cut on down stroke) and the top surface of the wood will have a jagged frayed edge especially if its pressed or laminated wood). speed control facility on your jigsaw may help (mine does not have speed control on jigsaw ) as will finer teeth like 20 teeth per inch. above are my personal experience.
