Good sturdy work boot.
Hubby likes these boots, I will be keeping them in my reorder list. He drives truck for a agricultural company. His feet get covered in fertilizer, weed killer, mud, muck and more, winter, spring, summer and fall. They have been holding up quite well, as I think it has been quite awhile ago that I ordered these. The fact that I can get his exact size is nice. Most stores don't carry his size. He finds them comfortable and wears them daily, not just for work.

Runs narrow, but a great boot once broken in
As many have written, the boot runs narrow, especially around the neck of the boot. I normally wear a 10.5. My feet are a little wide but not quite wide enough to order an wide shoe size on most shoes. I ordered a 10.5 on this boot but couldn’t even get my foot passed the neck. It also felt like it would be a little short, so then ordered an 11.5 regular width. I could barely squeeze my foot in passed the neck of the boot, but once my foot was in, it was just a little too long. I then ordered a 11 Wide. It was still a struggle to get into the boot at first, but once I got my foot in, it fit just right with just enough room to wear heavy socks when it gets cold. It also breaks in well. Once I broken in, I have no problems getting my foot in. If you don’t mind dark darkening the boot a little, I recommend applying mink oil first and wearing the boot at home for a few days. Now that I have it broken in, it seems like a great boot. It seems well made and is comfortable, especially given the price. However, I have not worn it for extended periods of time on my feet yet.

Which are not that comfortable at all?
The quality boots good the insole in it sucks so I recommend getting a new one. They’re not very comfortable.

CATS KICK ARSE!
I was in need of some winter boots. We got hit with an anomalous snowfall and subzero conditions and I found myself trekking around in New Balance Cross Trainers which weren't cutting it. I originally started looking for insulated winter boots and realized that those would be wasted. We just don't get cold enough on the West coast to justify spending $100 plus on winter boots. Then i started looking at high top hikers and realized that I wasn't interested in those either. My search lead me to these CAT Revolvers. I've owned 2 previous pairs of CATS in my life, but never a pair like this. I loved the simplicity and versatility of owning a pair of leather boots which were ultimately the alternative to rubber gum boots. I'm a size 11 and these fit me perfectly right out of the gate. I wore cotton socks and had absolutely no issues breaking them in. I'd say within a day of use they were good to go. Prior to use I used a silicone boot spray and applied 1 layer. I made sure to thoroughly coat the entire boot with the spray and left them for 24 hours to cure. I've been wearing these almost daily in our slushy ice conditions. I've not been shy...i've purposely slugged through the slush and muck in an attempt to capture my youth. These boots still look fantastic and are getting a patina to them which I welcome. I wear tactical cargo pants made out of ripstop as my staple pants and these do not look out of place with them. I tuck the pant legs OVER the boot and they look like regular dockers to the untrained eye. Our streets freeze at around 1600 hours and i've managed to walk around our unplowed neighbourhood without falling. I feel confident in my footing and I really enjoy wearing these boots. Here's the catch. If you are the thermal underwear, wool sock, type of person...these may not be for you. I don't mind having my feet a bit chilly as these are not lined in any way like Winter boots. I don't feel uncomfortable....but they offer as much insulation from the cold as a pair of rubber boots. For my feet i've always been a size 11 in runners and I found that these fit me perfectly. I have slightly wide feet and I had no issues getting into these. I found that the right boot was a little bit stickier than the left, but thats probably got more to do with my biology than the boots. Over time the boots stretched a bit and allowed for seamless entry/exit. I had zero issues driving in these boots. My wife's vehicle is a 2012 Mazda 5 with an automatic transmission....I drive a 2016 Mazda 6 with a manual transmission. I had no issues in the Mazda 5. I also had no issues in my Mazda 6 operating the clutch and manipulating the pedals as I drove. This surprised and pleased me greatly. The build quality on these boots is awesome! I was torn between these CATS and a pair of Doc Martens with cordura uppers. I'm glad I went for the all leather cats....there's something about the leather that just feels better. I like the soles and grip, I like the design, and I even like the CAT logo on the pull tabs. At the time of this review I paid $70 USD for these boots. In my opinion, I would have paid $100 USD for this boot and been perfectly satisfied. These are a good deal and I'd definitely buy them again. UPDATE 2017-04-02 I spent last month in Brampton, Ontario.....where it actually snows...and its actually cold. These boots were my staples and they performed flawlessly. I was even complimented on them by family who were surprised that a West Coaster had the foresight to bring boots. The love affair with these boots continues.

Had to change my review from 5 to 1
I am leaving my original review below. This morning I put on these boots and the heal support (whatever is against the back of my heal on the inside of the boot) broke down - when I pulled it out it looked like it was made of cardboard. Now the boot is unbearably uncomfortable. I really expected these to last a very long time and am now incredibly disappointed. So, I have seen this in other reviews and will re-enforce what others have said: I normally wear a 10. I ordered a 10.5 W. I also always wear Murino wool boot socks (winter and summer - try it and you will know why) When they arrived, I could barely get my foot it... I mean it really took a minute and quite a struggle to even get my foot into the boot. They squeezed on the sides, they squeezed on the top of my foot, I could barely wear them let along walk or work. I wore them for about 10 minutes before I had to take them off. I almost put them back in the box to send back. The next day, I wore them for a couple of hours before I had to take them off. The next few nights I would put them on after work and wear them until it was time to go to bed (flexing them while I was wearing them). About 3 days later, I put them on and my foot slipped right in. the boots had stretched enough so they were snug but comfortable. About 3 days after that, they had become my favorite boots. I can wear them all day, work, hiking, driving, they are just really comfortable. The tread is wide so I will pick up the occasional pebble but other than that, I have no complaints. Highly recommended.

Just not that good.
When I first put these on it took me about fifteen minutes to squeeze in. After a good days work they had stretched out to where I could take them on and off, but they're still a little tight. I go through about a pair of boots a year, and I like to try new things occasionally to see what's out there. For the most part they work. I really wish I had bought boots with laces. I spend a lot of time walking long rocky and muddy trails, so the loss of support at the ankle is a real weakness. I also had some trouble digging because the back got caught on my shovel over and over again. After I got used to them it wasn't as much of a problem, but I fell down a few times first. Overall they're a good boot. Easy to slip on for some quick work and easy to dry and clean off, but they just don't beat my old lace up steel toe work boots. If you like this style maybe they're for you, but if you're looking to switch to these I wouldn't recommend them.

Great boot.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I got the boot. My feet are fairly wide and generally don't fit 90% of the shoes & boots I try on. I ordered the D width because they were on sale and the EE's weren't - figured I would probably have to send them back. I was surprised they fit as well as they do. They are a little snug in the width, but not so much they are uncomfortable - being leather they'll stretch out soon enough. The pulltabs seem to be just as thick of leather as the boot, so I don't think they'll break on my boots anytime soon. It takes some effort to put them on - the leather is rough on the inside and tends to grab my socks, also the ankle part is snug. But I think if it was any looser, my foot would tend to slip around when walking and the leather will smooth out with use. Overall they are very sturdy boots and I think they'll last me a good while. The soles are fairly heavy and solid (no mistaking them for tennis shoes) but even without much cushioning they are quite comfortable to wear all day.
