Open and use items within return timeframe.
I finally used my dish for the first time and the coating on the bottom and side came off while cooking I am very surprised by the quality as I expected this to be a good brand. Will keep an eye on return date and not wait to use items again.

Don't buy this. Apparently Cuisinart just doesn't GAF anymore.
Crap. Big chunks of enamel chipped off, in the box.Crap. Disappointing.

Chips!
Enamel is a thin layer, and not durable. I ordered 3 pieces, all 3 are horribly chipped after a few uses, and I am careful - hand wash, and use no metal utensils. Just bumping the pot while moving puts a chip in enamel.

Enamel on the cooking surface chipped after minimal use.
After 5 uses, using only wooden utensils, microfiber cleaning cloths, and NO oven use the enamel inside on the bottom (read: cooking surface) chipped in the center. The attached pic shows the chip that we found while in the middle of cooking dinner. Extremely disappointing.

Lid does not seat on pot, rocks back and forth.
Same issue as another recent review (for 5.5qt, matt grey oval casserole) - the lid is warped and does not sit well on pot. It rocks back and forth, will not seat. (Poor QC). Defective product, will have to return. Unfortunate, as it is very heavy.

Cream coating is flaking off
Cream coating is now flaking off after only using pot 3 times. Need to know how to get replaced or returned to Cuisinart. Loved how pot cooked food, but this is very unhealty

Bum recommendation from ATK
I'm so disappointed with this pot, especially after America's Test Kitchen's recommendation of it as a "best buy." After three uses, big chunks of the outside enamel started falling off and those spots are now rusted. Cuisinart's lifetime guarantee is worthless since it costs as much if not more for shipping and handling for a return than the pot is worth. I knew I should have stuck with Le Creuset! A lot more expensive but definitely worth it.

00 worth for christmas gifts for each of my children as cast iron is the best and enameled cast iron even better
the enamel on the entire purchse is flaking off- I bought close to 1,000.00 worth for christmas gifts for each of my children as cast iron is the best and enameled cast iron even better. I've watched this flake off right as I am using it. not sure of Cuisinarts method of coating but these didn't make it through one omonth of use. do not buy

So far I am in love with this item
Excellent quality. Good value for money. Wonderful to cook in it! Can make one pot meals with great pleasure...good for the taste buds and for my esthetical senses in the kitchen.

Lid enamel chipped on first use
This pot arrived quickly, looked great and made a great stew. Unfortunately, the first time we used it the lid chipped in two place despite careful handling. That did not bode well for the future, so we returned it. Too bad, and we will not try another one, since other reviewers reported the same problem. I expected that Cuisinart would have demanded proper enamel work if they are trying to compete with Le Creuset, who have figured it out.

best buy in dutch ovens
I was given as a gift a knock off no name cast iron pot which chipped and cracked. I couldn't justify spending $500 on the top of the line so i did some research and this pot had great reviews and i generally like Cusinart products. I was not disappointed. The ceramic coating inside is very durable and the finish on the outside looks great. It is not as thick as the higher end brands but that makes it lighter and really i don't think the heat dissipation is any worse. I also like the shape, its wider and not as tall as other pots but thats a good thing. Of course the best part is the price, less than half price of the high end pots. This is definitely the best value out there, highly recommend this pot.

Great value for money!
I was considering buying a Le Creuset, but I watched America's Test Kitchen review of Dutch Ovens and this came as a close second to Le Creuset, and, wow, cannot beat the price. Their complaints about this product were regarding the handles, minor issues in my opinion - especially since I have tiny hands :DI got it, and WOW. What a great product. Definitely recommended. It's also very beautiful. I've been using it consistently since I got and I'm impressed.

Good but...
Unlike someone's review that said nothing sticks, almost all my meals have got burnt except for when I made chicken stock. I used it on medium heat. And I don't like the fact that the handles and lid knob get very hot... It is very heavy 😓. I like the colour though. I thought it was non-stick but without the pfoa. I will still get a non - stick pot. Any burnt bits wash off easily.
