Q: Is the waist adjustable

The waist isn't adjustable but it's quite gathered around the back. They are a bit big on my son but plenty of room to expand in them.

Q: What are the actual sizes of the garments? You click on the size chart and it just shows age 2-12, but no measurements?

When I ordered my grandsons I got one size larger then his age because he was a big boy , but in actual fact I could of order his age size as the garments are made just right for the sturdy boy, so I’d just go with age of who you are buying for

Q: I want the blue ones, but the picture shows cargo shorts which I don't want. Is that how they come?

Mine weren't cargo shorts but they weren't the blue ones either, I think as the blue makes a point of showing the cargo pockets that is probably how they come in blue. FWIW the quality is excellent.
