It’s a root lifter. My favorite root lifter! Comes out similar to mousse. I am able to only use 2 pumps, and I apply at the roots along my face. It creates lots of volume, doesn’t leave a crispy texture, and it doesn’t weigh my super fine hair down. It leaves my hair feeling soft, without flyaways, and looking much thicker and fuller. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s a quality product. I’ve never seen it cheaper than the Amazon price. This is one of my daily must-have items. However, this product is awesome! I have very thin hair and live in very humid climate; my hair gets frizzy as soon as I walk outside. But not with this product. I’m able to stay outside for an extended period of time and not worry about my hair. A little goes a long way. If you put too much on then it will look stiffer it took me several attempts until I found the right amount for my hair. Sebastian has some good products, so I went back to them. I use to have fine to medium hair and a lot of it. I've gotten older and my hair has gotten more fine. I really am done with using a lot of product (80's - 90's hair, we used so many styling products), but I needed some volume and lift. I love this stuff, it comes out like the foaming hand washes. You put it on damp hair about 3-5 pumps for medium hair length, blow dry using a round brush for volume, or just scrunching, air dry and curl. It does add lift but doesn't get crunchy. If your hair is more fine, you can use more if you want to set with rollers or get a tighter curl. Washes out nicely without damaging your hair or feeling sticky. I have been using this regularly and don't get any build up.
