Not sure how they could be better
I bought these for a kayaking trip in the arctic (Svalbard) and they were perfect. I had previously gotten the 1/4 zip mid-weight and I'm not sure how they could be better. They are soft, keep you at just the right temperature and don't keep any odor, even after continuous wearing (sleeping, paddling, hiking, polar bear watch, etc.) for several days. I machine wash on delicate, air dry in the dryer for maybe 30 minutes and then finish drying on a hanger. Worth every penny. Get the charcoal rather than black. It looks awesome.

My favorite base layer
When I first bought one of Merino Techs items I really didn’t know what to expect. These are very soft and comfortable. I have worn a base layer durning these extreme Ohio winter cold temps. Durning this winter storm of Jan. 2026 I have been able to do many things outdoors and never has the cold bothered me except for my hands and ears. The fit is a little loose but more than tolerable. I now have a couple tees a couple polos 2 base layers with more on the way. I am so happy and confident in these that I also have a couple beanies on the way as well. I almost forgot that I have some of their socks and they are just a comfortable. They seem to be very well stitched and I feel they will be extremely long lasting.

Gute Unterwäsche.
Es ist eine gute Unterwäsche, die gut passt, angenehm zu tragen ist und was für mich auch wichtig ist, sie riecht nicht nach dem Schwitzen unangenehm. Ich habe sie zwar bisher nur wenige mal getragen, aber ich bin voll zufrieden damit.
