Great way to decorate fabric!
Fantastic product! Very intense, dark color, can be diluted with water to make lighter. II tried it on fabric which had been previously dyed, didn't change color or mix with background. Terrific way to add different colors on top which maintain their original color, but also bond with fabric, meaning color goes through to back just like dyed fabric. If you layer dyes over another color, they will blend with first dyed color, and you will get another color or brown "mud" if not careful (ex: yellow on top of purple = brown.) Paints can do the same thing, unless they are totally opaque, and then they don't penetrate the fabric, only "sit" on top.(as all fabric paints do).This ink is terrific, in that it acts like dye, but doesn't have to be applied with the chemicals and dye baths and soaking and rinsing. I still love dyeing fabrics, some patterns can only be accomplished that way. But this product is a fantastic addition to any fiber artist's collection. I just received my 1st bottle, and loved it so I have ordered a whole set. Especially good for adding details. I purchased from "Art Materials" on Amazon, they shipped free, I received it in 2 days! Terrific service!

A lovely shade and it handles well
I use it wet on wet in artwork to get ink spreading as a waterproof layer to put watercolor over. I love working with PH. Martin Ink.

( calligraphy review) 2nd time buying this brand and twice disappointed
The consistency is off for my calligraphy. Not sure if this was made for dip pens or not. May work for stamp refills or ink spraying.Either way. Not good for calligraphy in my opinion.
