Does exactly what it says on the cover !
A brilliant book. Contains everything you need to know about modern leadership in today's nhs. Very practical and full of easy to understand advice and information. Easy to transfer knowledge into practice.i would highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to improve their management and leadership skills but who isn't into ploughing through the heavy literature stuff!

For any 3rd year student mental health nurse doing management, this is an essential text. Also, it has added value once qualified in ongoing professional development and NMC mentor training.

Really useful book
Unbelievable value for money. This book too was second -hand but in excellent condition. Although written with American medical system in mind it is still 98% relevant for the UK. Recommended for student nurses doing management and leadership module.
