Dimpflmeier Klosterbrot Delicatessen Rye Bread 16 Oz

This is one of my favorite breads, period. I was thrilled to find it available on line as no one in my area carries it. I grew up with this bread in Germany. The taste of this bread takes me right back there.

Since I am German, this is the most delicious bread for me. I am not a baker and couldn't reproduce this bread, which friends and I have tried to do. It is simply the best sandwich bread there is and were it not for the price, I would order it more frequently.

I have ordered Dimpflmeier bread for over 30 years and am very happy I found it on Amazon again.

This is an OK German-style bread. It is on the lighter side and can be used for savory and sweet sandwiches. I didn’t care that it contained preservatives to extend its shelf life. It changed the taste for me. Most German breads are freshly baked without preservatives.

Very fresh and good but I wanted a stronger tasting rye bread. Nothing wrong with it. I just wanted something different. I still would recommend the product.

I did not like the bread it does not taste very good. I’m sorry I bought it. Also very expensive. I prefer the German Farmers Bread , from Gourmet Market on Amazon Marketplace. CS

My favorite bread I loved it very much since it is hard to get in American stores except Wegmanns but I have none close to me.

I toasted it. It was sliced too thin in my opinion. It was very firm as if it was not fresh.
