EzyDogDouble Up Dog Collar – Double D-Rings for Superior Strength, Safety, and Comfort – Nylon Dog Collar with Reflective Trim and ID Attachment Point (Large, Red)

I really like this collar so much I just bought the padded one. I also have the martingale style, all in camo. I adopted a street dog from Bangkok who is a literal flight risk and walking him is scary because he’s easily spooked and these dogs do not come back. My dog is very primitive, and we literally had to domesticate him. Anyway, he has about 90 collars because I can’t seem to the THE ONE. Plus with his coat color, I’m just picky. I ordered the small, my dog is about the size of a cattle dog or heeler? He has the body of a hound and a neck that looks meatier than it is, he has a long neck when he stretches. He grew out of his martingale which was half chain half collar and it worked so well -I’ve actually never had a dog escape I just have anxiety over this one dog (we have 5 total). His neck is like a 13” id say. The small collar is extended fully on him, I have the martingale as well but I ordered the 1.5inch padded collar literally just now in a medium. The small fits him fine and I have no complaints - I’m just one of those people who get bored of collars and like getting new ones. I probably own every collar on amazon and I didn’t earn one penny to say that lol but this one I think is really the best. I think the small in this collar looks good on him because we don’t use the leash loops.I also just realized it was reflective as I went to take this picture for this review and I’m lolling. It’s deff a durable and sturdy collar, the material evidences that. It’s really great, I don’t like wasting time with reviews honestly unless a product really moves me or irks me or it’s important for some reason. This one deserves it. I’m glad I bought every version of this collar because I love it and won’t be changing for a while. It also absolutely does not feel like it will stretch over time, like its tight to the adjustable pieces. It’s sturdy trust me. I should be the amazon spokes person for dog collars.By the way, I can fit two fingers and probably extend it a hair more if I had to oh him. I never measured my physical dog lol so hopefully whatever I said in this jumble helps someone! I also don’t know how to rotate pics lol sry!

I have tried so many dog collars after the first one broke. It wasn't until I purchased this one that I felt comfortable with the color. It is lightweight, has reflective stitching, and is brightly colored. Looks so stylish. However, most importantly is the double D rings. So important. I don't know why every collar doesn't have double D rings. The rings are on both sides of the buckle so even if the buckle breaks, the leash will still be attached to both of the rings and the collar will stay on the dog. However, it is unlikely the buckle will break since the placement of the rings takes all the pressure off of the buckle when the dog pulls. Additionally, there is a separate plastic loop for the tags which I like because the leash clasp doesn't rub on the tags and the tags make much less noise against the plastic. It is so great that I purchased a spare. I will never use another collar again. This one is amazing.

the sizing has changed. at the time i am posting this review there are no sizes listed on the listing. i am attaching a photo of my "old" collar size M and the new size M. having to return for larger size. sizing on new collars also attached

I should have trusted an earlier review that said sizing was not accurate. I ordered a medium. Both the size chart and the tag say an M is 11.5-16 inches. Fully extended and clasped closed, the circumference is 14.25 inches. I need a collar today so I have to keep it but this is ridiculous. If my puppy gains 5 pounds, I will be looking for a larger collar. On the plus side, I like the separate attachment for tags. We have lost tags because of them sharing the D ring with the leash clasp. But, being off by nearly 2 inches on the sizing is unacceptable.

We’ve had three dogs for the thirty-two years we’ve been married. Our current dog is the most energetic thus far and requires a hardy and well designed collar. We’ve gone through five different collar makers and the EzyDog Double Up is the one that works. You do need to use both leash loops to make it work but as long as that is done, it’s the best. We especially love the separate loop for tags. Other collars share the leash loop with tags and that often led to accidentally using the tag loop instead of the leash loop. Not a problem with the EzyDog collar. It’s our favorite collar and we’ll stick with it.

This collar not only looks great, but is superior to what's on the market today. I am ecstatic with the double D ring design, it's ingenious. My dog is not really a puller, but it gives me a warm fuzzy knowing that if for some reason the plastic buckle fails I still have control of my dog. Equipment is only as strong as its weakest link and from what I can see this has none. Kudos EzyDog, keep it up.

After throwing out three previous collars, I FINALLY found the right one!! This collar fits my Sealyham puppy perfectly, has two metal leash rings for added security, has a separate (heavy duty plastic) ring for my dog's ID and rabies rags, comes in colors, and (best of all) retains the size you set without slippage. It does require a leash with a large enough snap to enclose both leash rings. I ordered the "small" size and it would have adjusted small enough to fit my pup at 8-weeks old and still fits her at 5-months old and 12 pounds (with a slight enlargement still possible). I highly recommend this collar and plan to buy another.

I don't particularly like the color, but I'll still give this 4 stars for the functional design and quality. I looked at two different major pet stores for a collar like this with no luck. What's great about it is that there are two metal d-rings on opposite sides of the clasp so your dog can't get away if she breaks the clasp. (I'm speaking from the experience we had with our feisty bullmastiff.) I removed one star because the collar tends to loosen a little bit and needs tightening every week or so.
