Great strong tree!
I received 2 strong crape myrtles. I just hope it’s the one I wanted, not the one I already have. “Near East” is what I ordered. I think what I have in my yard is Tuscarora Crape Myrtle or Lagerstroemia indica which is a fuchsia pink not light pink. I do see some buds on one of the trees they sent and I’ll wait and see once it blooms. These arrived healthy and alive and bigger than I thought. Also I received directions on how to take care of these. It would be perfect if these are the ones I actually ordered! I’m not saying it’s not though, but I noticed someone had commented it wasn’t the right one, so that’s why I’m just wondering now. I can’t tell though, so I don’t want to assume. I’ll give 5 stars once I figure out which one I have. But I’m happy with my order so far! BestUpdate: I returned the one, but prob wasn’t necessary since I believe it was the right one. The extra one that they send which is just the company being nice, is the one that bloomed, so I got confused. I didn’t understand why they send two and now I get it. I believe the smaller one I received was the NE that I so desperately want! But they send me 2 new ones and again the packaging is with such care. So hopefully the NE survives and I can have that lovely CM that I wanted. Shall see! I was just a little bit confused. But I get it now. You don’t get 2 ne you get 1 (which is fair, why would they send 2), the second one is just an extra one of the typical CM which is the fuchsia one which are lovely too and that’s very nice of the company! I’ll either plant it in a pot or donate to a friend, since she has more property. If you are not sure, try to contact them before you return it. But anyway I’ll update in a year or so when or if I get blooms by then. I am seeing the NE bloomed and it’s so so lovely! Can’t wait to plant this and watch it grow and bloom! Best-update year later: I’m pleased to say it’s growing! Pretty healthy too! I had planted it in April as I didn’t have the spot ready when I first got it and I didn’t want to risk planting it and the small tree not take because of the cold unpredictable weather. I kept it in dormant inside the house. So I planted it and it’s growing! I prob won’t get flowers this year and that won’t be surprising, but it does look different to the other crape that they had given as a nice gesture. So I’m pretty certain this is the one and I’m please! I’m excited to see this grow bigger and eventually flower! But it’s healthy! Strong! It’s handling the heat we have been having too!

It's no bigger than a twig. .
It will take at least ten years to look anything like the picture. Very over priced.

Every single small branch and leave was broke.
Well here it is. I waited and waited for it to be delivered because I was SO excited! I received two twigs. One said Free, which is so awesome butttt the extra crape myrtle was a different type (twilight) I ordered the near east after many hours of researching the right size, color and company to purchase from. The one that looks like it will make it is the twilight which I'm hoping is also a dwarf but have no way of knowing. I have them both outside and did everything exactly as directed. Cross your fingers for me! I really love the light pink and the size. Grow baby grow! I'll revisit and update my review after I give them some time to adjust and grow.

Beautiful Healthy Trees!
I ordered one Near East, and received two! One is 3 feet tall, the other 3-1/2 feet. Both have nice straight trunks (and have already been pruned to look like trees), and they're gorgeous plants. Even though they were shipped dry, their leaves are green and supple, and new growth is appearing. The Near East is my favorite small Crape Myrtle. They have the most delicate pale pink flowers, spring-green leaves, and cinnamon-colored bark. Very striking. And they only grow 8 to 10 feet tall. Perfect for tight spaces, and they work well in shrub beds to add height and color. I live in Zone 7a, and we've had some pretty extreme weather the past couple of years, excessive heat, excessive cold, excessive rainfall (9 inches one week in February). But all my Crapes have come through it with flying colors. I now have six Near Easts, and I couldn't be happier with these last two additions to my Crape family. These are larger than the ones I've planted before, and when I saw them on Amazon, I knew I had to place an order. Oddly enough, Near East Crapes are difficult to find; most nurseries don't stock them, and I can't imagine why. Because once you've seen them in bloom, you'll want one, or two. . . or ten . . . I'm sure I'll come back for more.

Well...we'll see
UPDATE: 16/21/2021 - Well, it looks like both trees have survived the shipment phase. I'm still going to keep my eye on them for a bit. Moved up one start so far.I knew I was going out of town and also it has been raining like cats and dogs so the ground is saturated, but the tree had a delivery date with a mid-June range. Perfect! Well, it showed up way ahead of schedule. Normally, this is a good thing, but the package was sitting on my porch for several days and got a little dried out. I do appreciate the free one, but that one was broken in half. The one I ordered is pretty much just a stick. I'm nursing both of these trees and hope they make it. I will be back later to update this review with either more stars or less. We'll see.

Gorgeous Clear Pink Trees!
Gorgeous, clear pink, hard to find color of this beautiful tree! I purchased two because this color is so hard to find. However since it is an older variety and more susceptible to disease, I treated it with BIOADVANCED Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed fertilizer and they have already started blooming this first year!! And no issues with aphids, powdery mildew, etc. (I did prevent any powdery mildew with a dose of granules, as with all my flowering trees and shrubs. Simple to use and highly effective: Bonide (BND60514) - Infuse Systemic Disease Control, Granular Fungicide (7.5 lb.) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001D0YG5Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_YGA0DB58NJ6KBGK3N41Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)
