This battery works flawlessly in my Sony a6600. It's well made and does exactly what I needed to do. I would recommend it.

It’s a good dummy battery but I can’t get it to work well with my camera.Every time I plug it into my Sony A1, it gives me a battery warning that it may not be a safe battery.After just a few minutes, my camera shut down from overheating.I tried it with my normal batteries and the camera didn’t overheat.It might just be my camera model, but the battery is not for me.

The power adapter has worked flawlessly, even under multiple hours of continuous use. No voltage dips/spikes and pairs perfectly with the Sony A7III. The power cord length is wonderfully long, making it easy to position your camera far away from a power source without an extension cord. The only downside to this power adapter is the multiple adapter pieces required to use it. While this isn't a deal breaker, the first time you put it together, it's easy to get confused and assume you plug the power brick directly into the battery adapter...which isn't how it works. You need to intermediate piece in between. When pairing this with a $1000+ camera, I certainly didn't want to take the gamble and guess on how it assembled together. Luckily the instructions on the product page outline the assembly process. A redesign of the adapter fittings would be ideal and mitigate confusion. Ex: piece A only fits with piece B, and C only fits with D. Using a common adapter fitting can make assembly confusing and could lead to hardware damage.Pros: Works perfectly.Cons: Poor assembly design using common fittings. Easy to get confused on what plugs into what.

This plug worked great for a couple of months, but then it blew out my Sony A7C camera, which now no longer turns on. I would HIGHLY recommend buying Sony’s branded dummy battery instead of this cheaper substitute. I thought I could get away with paying less, but now I need to send the camera in for professional repair as the circuit was blown by this cheap dummy battery.

This is great and really do the job for all of my production needs.

I am running Sony FX30's and purchased a pair of these for in-studio use. While one remains operational, one of them just up and died, the power supply failing within about 3 months and outside the return period. No easy way to contact the seller directly so I ended up ordering a new one.Hopefully, this was a fluke and I won't be having to replace one of these per quarter.
