This has been a great feeder for my mini doxie. It's very sturdy and easy to keep the bowls clean. It helps contain spillage as well. Simple assembly. It's at a nice height for him to eat with his head at a better angle so it's more in line with his body. I think he's not gulping as much. I do wish the water bowl was maybe a little bigger, but it's ok. Just have to keep an eye on it if you have a dog that drinks a good amount of water.

This product does exactly what it says; it is a neater way of feeding cats. That said, it's also a bit more work.I have three cats. One likes to dig in the water dish for a minute or so before drinking, making water puddles on the floor. Another can't seem to keep food in his mouth when chewing and ends up spreading dry food out in a foot diameter. The last, thank goodness, doesn't have any messy eating quirks.I bought this because I am constantly having to both sweep and mop around the kitchen where the food dishes are. Usually it's daily but sometimes it's multiple times a day. Because I get both food and water everywhere, the food gets wet and starts turning to mush on the floor and it's really gross. So we bought this in hopes it would contain the mess and save my floor and sanity.My first warning is that the bowls are so tiny. The one we use for the food doesn't bother me at all but for water, it's just way too small for three cats. If we didn't have a messy eater who drops food bits into the bowl causing me to clean the dish and refill it a few times a day, I would probably have to refill it once or twice a day as it is because it's so small.My second warning is that while it does contain the mess, there still is a mess and cleaning it is easy but can be time consuming. I don't mind doing it once a day as it's much nicer than having to mop all the time, but if you have a messy eater and drinker like me and are looking for something to make it *easier* to clean up, this may not be what you're looking for. It takes me about ten minutes to clean both dishes, get all the food bits out from around where the dishes go and wash the darker bronze area and then clean up the bottom catcher portion. Sweeping and mopping took way less time but for my personal preferences, this way works better for me. Keep that in mind.Looks-wise, I really like it. It's discreet enough and small enough that I don't find it an eyesore in the least. The height is good for cats (although they do sell leg extenders separately) and two can easily fit their heads together in there side by side. My only non-messy eating cat is very skittish and paranoid and was very nervous about eating and drinking from this because the walls acted like blinders but after three days, he got over it and has no problems now. If your cat acts the same, give them a bit of time to get used to it before giving up.Overall, I would definitely recommend it as long as you are aware that this doesn't eliminate your need to clean up after your animals but at least contains the mess to a small area.

This is a great feeder. The raised height makes it easy for our goldendoodle to eat and drink and the side guards keep the water from getting everywhere. Easy to clean as well.

After having this for quite a while, I decided to write a review of it. This does a great job keeping water from being sloshed all over the area by my dog, but the bowls have now rusted. It's easy to replace the bowls, but we've always had stainless bowls and they've never rusted before. This is easy to disassemble and clean. My dog is medium size, about 30-35 lbs and the height is great for her.

We love the Neeter Feeder. We use both sides for water. The high back keeps water from splashing on the baseboard. The bottom tray catches any water spilt from the 2 bowls. Great purchase!

I received this today and I can already tell that this is an answer to my prays. My dogs went to it no problem and no water all over the floor. Every time they drink it’s a swamp!!!! Not now, no water at all !!!! Thank you for this great product.

Our pup is notorious for throwing a temper tantrum and pushing her water bowl around when we leave. We were so tired of cleaning up a whole bowl of water from the floor, and our furniture legs and grout were suffering from it.This bowl has been a game changer for us! It catches all the water when she noses it around, not a drop on the floor since we’ve got it. It’s not super heavy overall, so she can still move it but nothing spills. Super easy to dump the overflowed water and clean. Shes a 30lb schnoodle and we got the medium, the bowls are the perfect size. The extra deep water bowl was a bonus because she drinks like a fish. Worth the price!
