Versatile planters
I staggered all my herbs in these planters. They look beautiful and hold a lot of water in the reservoir.By staggering the planters my herbs can really spread out. In 4 square feet of vertical space, i have 12 herbs!!!

this is our second set - they attach perfectly to our iron fence - either by themselves or connected to each other. saves patio space too.

Have a plan for installation
Even though these can hook together, I didn't want them flapping in the wind/storms. Furthermore, our fence has 3 horizontal beams that make the inside of the fence not have a flat side. We went to Lowe's and got some fence slats (5-1/2" wide). My husband cut off the bottom part of the slats. Then, he drilled holes and secured them to the horizontal beams. We use eye hooks from Lowe's. I don't recall the size, but we took the rod to Lowe's and found something that fit decently. Turns out that some of the rods had to be hammered in. I prefer the tight grip the eye hooks have on the rod. There was one set (3 containers) that did not come with the insert for the bottom. I should be getting a replacement. I plan to grow strawberries in these.

Great product!
I purchased these for my raised deck, they are easy to assemble, the metal ties fasten it tightly to the railing. As Wendy as it gets here, that is exactly what I was looking for.

I am absolutely delighted by these. They transform my fence into a strawberry garden. So easy to hang, and the water reservoir makes it harder fir me to kill my plants. I bought 2 sets. Will purchase more

Plants dry out to fast in AZ heat
I like the look and sturdiness of the product. I placed them sporadically on chain link fence. Here in Arizona the heat dries the water out to fast for plants or in my case herbs. I think they probably will work better for succulents….that’s my next test.
