Better than sanders
This is good value for money. I've been using this to clean up the surface of my wooden kitchen tops and it is ideal. It's easy to use and performs far better than, for example, orbital sanders, which just clog and potentially burn the surface of the counter. It leaves the surface in a suitable state for oiling too.

Well made and did the job
I used this to strip off the paint on the frame of some old stained glass windows id bought before fitting them. Itโs good quality and did the job, Iโve used similar in the past on different projects they are great for getting old paint off of wood.

Best for larger surfaces
Was looking at carbide scrapers but wasn't sure which so took a chance on this as it was inexpensive and a next day delivery. It did remove some old varnish without the use of chemicals but is best suited to larger surfaces I think. The fine blade I used is sharp so be careful not to catch it on your non-scraping hand as I did more than once!

Good price and easy to use
Great tool for stripping paint off wood. Easy to use. Replace the blade by turning the screw and simply rotating the blade. The blades hold their sharpness which makes this very good value. Would recommend.
