May be z little difficult for beginners, but great value for money and clear instructions

I’m a beginner so giving this a try was quite a challenge, but worth the end result.The kit itself comes with plenty of clear instructions to follow, 2 enlarged grids with symbols to show which colour thread goes with which symbol, a soft, quite large, plain square of Aida cloth with black speckles on, a needle (which was a bit sharp at the tip), and a card with the cotton in slots by their respective grid symbol. This is a counted cross stitch kit.As a beginner, counting a blank cloth and trying to make sense of the pattern was difficult, so I took the picture measurements and used that to pencil my own grid on to the cloth, it is the easiest way for me to manage it and can take it bit by bit. Not sure why, but I find it easier to start the image at the bottom left and work along either grid by grid or a bunch of the same symbol at a time, which seemed to work. To remove the pencil grid, I used some white vinegar, washing up liquid and water on a cloth and scrubbed.My finished piece isn’t perfect, there are errors, but still, as a beginners am pleased with the end result.Would buy a Bothy threads kit again… in fact, I already did.

Absolutely stunning cross stitch kit. I’m really impressed with the quality of threads and Aida, the instructions are also lovely and clear. I purchased it in order to have to something productive to do during the current virus lockdown in the U.K. and was amazed by how it arrived without delay! I actually expected it to take some time to get to me due to cross stitch hardly being a priority at the moment for companies but was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this product and couldn't be happier with it x

I started Christmas Donkey on Christmas eve. I love it, easy to read instructions, ood quality materials, slightly larger needle, which is needed when you get to the sprinkle floss. Can't wait for it to go up on the wall (Christmas or not it's going up).Thoroughly recommended this design for beginners or even we that have a bit of history with the craft.

The kit has everything you need to make it and the instructions are comprehensive, the chart is huge and very clear to follow the picture is lovely and I would definitely recommend this and purchase from the company again.
